Kipara Tropical Rainforest Resort

The place is nice, the facilities were okay. Our cabin had no wifi because of some ‘issue’ that they didn’t seem to really care about 👎👎👎. There were loads of cockroaches in the cabins but that’s to be expected when you’re in the forest. There’s a quick bus that stops right outside which can take you to airlie in 5 mins.

Superquiet place 25 min walk (or 5 min bus) from Airlie Beach. It's lovely not being in the city center. The room was good, with A/c and private bathroom. The kitchen had everything you need and it is kept clean. Mel, at the reception, was lovely too!

Enjoyed my night stay here, good if you want some time alone as i didn’t really see anyone else. The room was cosy, a little tired with some things broken but nothing significant. Staff were lovely and happy to help - would definitely stay here again

Lovely staff, good communication prior to arrival, helpful with information about facilities and local day trips. Lots of leaflets available too. Bus stop nearby. Great to have a room to myself for a few days. Unfortunately the weather was mixed, so i didn't venture far. Peaceful and nice to listen to the wildlife at night. Be mindful of the little lizards that run across the paths, so you don't squish them.

Gutes Hostel, aber etwas ab vom Schuss, braucht man definitiv ein Auto für. Es ist sehr ruhig und das Zweierzimmer war sehe gut, etwas teuer doch insgesamt ein gutes Hostel.

Cannot tell you how lovely and helpful staff are :) loved the privacy of the room, facilities available, HUGE cooking area for example. Was initially worried I'd be too far out of town, but ended up loving catching the (v cheap) bus each day. Just make sure to bring cash! Come here for quiet stay, not social.

Our door didn’t lock and ants in the room. Receptionist was so nice and helpful and great facilities. Big room and nice bathroom.

Booked a single room and was surprised to get a double bed instead which was great. Very clean room and lovely pool area which was quiet and got all to myself! Pool was a nice temperature not cold. Only negatives are the kitchen had no plates or bowls to eat out of and no cutlery so wish I’d have known this as not very convenient if you want to make your own food. And no street lighting if you want to walk to the town once it’s dark. Overall great value for money would definitely stay again.

I booked a single room and was given a suite with a double bed and kitchenette which was a lovely surprise! The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bus stop was close and ran often which meant it didn’t fee far from Airlie centre! It was the perfect place to spend a few days and get some good rest after being in dorms for 4 weeks! Overall I loved my stay here and would highly recommend if you’re after a restful and peaceful couple of nig...

We had a wonderful stay. Everything we needed for a peaceful few days - very clean on arrival, really comfy bed, spacious kitchen and easy to get in to town by bus or walking. Staff were all so friendly. Amazing value for money too!

Great value for money. Felt clean and new. Unfortunately room was not quite ready to check-in but it wasn't a long wait. Quite remote so not easy to get into town/back without a car in the evening but we knew that beforehand. Overall very pleasant!

We had a fantastic stay here. Our room was small but very clean, new, and air conditioned. It was also very nice quiet in nature. The shared kitchens could have been cleaner but we had no problems at all, and our room had a mini fridge and kettle.

This hostel was great! The staff was super friendly, the apartment was clean and well-equipped. A big plus: early check-in was possible at no extra cost – excellent service! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Everything was great and we had a good time! However the kitchen was lacking a lot of utensils which would be nice for cooking.

100+$ for a night in a literal shoebox is wayyyy too pricey, outdoor facilities were nice though.

Unterkunft sehr gut, als Backpacker ist es nur etwas Teurer. Es ist eben ein Hotel und kein Hostel. Zimmer sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr Freundlich und grüßt immer. Sache die ich nicht so gut fand sind ein mal die Lage ca 30 min von Airle Beach zu Fuß entfernt aber es fährt auch ein Bus alle 20 min. Fazit wenn man etwas mehr Geld zur Verfügung hat und es bequem möchte ist hier genau richtig :D

Really lovely resort! About 40 min walk to Airlie so you need to get the buses which are cheap but run once/twice an hour. They let me shower in the pool shower at 730am which was the best shower I’ve had since travelling! Staff are so lovely! Shame the reception closes early as they have food you can buy and there’s no shops open nearby in the evening

Really good stay here great value for money, clean and had good amenities. A special mention to Mel who was incredibly friendly and extremely accommodating to us

Kitchen could have more/better supplies/ cookware and dishes/ cutlery. Pool could be cleaner (floating insects & leaves). Other than that fabulous stay, beautiful rainforest garden and welcoming design of the site. Would be a plus if there was wheelchair access instead of stairs though (also for luggage). Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would come back again :)
