Desert Palms Alice Springs

- How dirty the room was and we slept in filth. You could clearly tell that they didn’t change the bed sheets

+ Location was central and good neighbourhood. Having a small kitchen is a bonus. But when you have a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children) in a family villa, it is very cramped.

- Pool - Much smaller than what is in the pictures. Unable to accommodate the number of guests in the hotel. Pool was unusable as it was always busy and too crowded. Room - Very old bedding and room amenities. Bathroom is very old and barely functional. When you have a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 children) in a family villa, it is very cramped.

- Mon séjour à Desert Palms Alice Springs a été décevant. Tout d'abord, il n'y avait pas de chauffage dans la chambre, et elle était très mal isolée, ce qui a rendu la nuit extrêmement froide. En plus, la propreté laissait à désirer, avec de la poussière dans les coins de la chambre. L'expérience a été encore pire lors du départ. J'ai eu 10 minutes de retard sur le check-out, et une dame à la réception a été extrêmement désagréable, réagissant comme si j'avais eu 3 heures de retard. Cela m'a fait me sentir comme si je n'avais aucune considération. Pour couronner le tout, ils m'ont prélevé 200$ sur mon compte parce que je n'avais pas lavé la vaisselle ni plié les couvertures des lits. Cela a été la goutte d'eau qui m'a convaincu de ne plus revenir à cet hôtel

- Wasn’t clean, hair all over the floor. Hair on the beds. Coffee cups and spoons were not clean. Disgraceful

- The fact that when we needed cleaners, we were expected to clean our own room.

- Very unhelpful

+ Good location - good swimming pool.

- Well what an experience - ended up in a car accident hiked for 5 hours to the nearest rest stop no service/internet battery running low. Finally a man dropped me to the hotel, leaving the group behind. I told the receptionist about the accident and my parent 60+ were still stranded and offered no guidance or support.

+ Very little. The grounds are beautifully kept though

- A villa for three is the same mini A frame with more beds squeezed in. In need of a revamp

- All the beds in the family room were dusty like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, as was the table and bench tops. The air-conditioning sits above the main bed and would appear to me it's never been cleaned. Beds were just ok, it was cold because they don't provide ample blankets. I literally had hey fever from when I entered until my shower the next morning. If you have allergies stay away from this place as in my experience they lack the ability to properly clean rooms and amenities

+ The bed was the worst bed I’ve ever laid on to the point where we almost slept on the floor… not the best when we have a big drive ahead of us. The rooms floor was so dirty and hadn’t been cleaned either - the soles of my feet were black after walking on it for a little bit. The bathroom wasn’t very clean either and quite below average for price

+ Convenient location. Seemed very secure. Nice facilities and excellent pool.

- Didn’t find anything that I didn’t like.

+ The rooms are roomy, comfy, clean. You can tell the staff have a care factor and attention to detail.

- Clean, nice area and friendly staff

+ Ended up booking online because the man on reception didn’t seem to understand our request. We tben booked online and request for parking for Ute & trailer in front of villa at the cheaper price. Reception lady was lovely on our arrival

- Communication when phoning to book a villa.. why would we have to sent email of what we wanted the next day if our arrival. Normally it is sent to us.

+ Self contained room , well kept and secure, good facilities , excellent location, perfect for our needs.

- Nothing not to like

+ Room comfortable and spacious. Veranda really nice to relax on.

- A power outlet on the veranda would be handy.

+ Beaux bungalows indépendants et entourés de palmiers. Parking direct devant le logement. Piscine circulaire avec îlot central: idealbpour les enfants. Petite cuisine avec équipement complet mais basique.

- La SdB d'un autre âge... rideau de douche, couleur jaunâtre de quelques joints... Sans charme aucun et rénovation nécessaire!

+ Close to the casino

+ The overall feel of Desert Palms is of a clean, caring environment with a peaceful environment. We'll be back.

+ Clean and spacious. Nice location. Pool looked nice.

- View of barbed wire fence. BBQ area functional but more of a camp kitchen than a space to enjoy a meal as the sunset. A job would have been useful.

+ Good pool

- The lights in the bbq area wouldn't stay on so it was a bit dark when cooking

+ Most things

- Cleaning of rooms, not frequent enough.
