The quietest Hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I barely seen any other guests there. Definitely not the place to go if you are solo travelling. There was a sign for a bar but didn’t see one. It was really clean however and the shower was great. The decor and staff were really nice too.
staff were friendly & helpful although not there for a lot of the day; surface level cleanliness was ok but the shower and some of the soft furnishings were a little mouldy; location close to the main town square but on a busy road and in an old building - inside looked much nicer than outside! i didn’t see a single other guest while there so not one for socialising, felt more like a budget hotel than a hostel. not sure i will return but may be ideal for someone with different needs/preference...
The staff and location were great but it definitely was not as nice as the photos show. The room was 89 (32 Celsius) degrees. The bathroom was not amazing, you had to stand on the toilet to get past the door. There definitely needs to be a table next to the sink so that you can put stuff somewhere.
Really like this hostel. Very centric, close to the main plaza. The staff was super nice, and I liked that there was a kitchen where you always had tea and coffee, juice and more to serve yourself any time of the day. Room was also fine! Would come back for sure.
Loved my stay in my single room. Beautiful room and lovely host. Was helpful with giving advice for dinner, definitely would recommend.
Nice and cheap. Very quiet hostel close to the center. You get keys to the apartment building door, the hostel and your room, so nice and safe. The staff is so friendly, aready to help, and informed us of what to do in Zagreb. Private room was pretty and plenty big. The shared bathrooms very a bit dark and cramped, and the kitchen sink only has cold water. But the staff is meticulous about cleaning the hostel every day, and there is free tea, instant coffee and a fridge.
Decent hostel in a very good location. Our stay was in the off-season and on a national holiday which likely affected our experience. The hostel was a ghost town, but it was clean and the lady at reception was wonderful, so it met our needs.
overall good hostel
Travelling as a couple, we were very happy with Dots. It was a quiet but friendly atmosphere & we were within walking distance of so many places. Everything was very clean & we felt very relaxed there.
Great location, good atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. Only thing I would mention is there is no air conditioning in the rooms, if you struggle with heat in the summer. Overall would highly recommend dots hostel

The TV was not working but all the other things were fine. It is near to the center and attractions.

A perfect stay. We had the twin room for one night and were sad to have to leave. The room was clean; the welcome was friendly; the bathroom and kitchen facilities were without problems; and the staff were extremely flexible and helpful when we needed to store our luggage - all this for a very reasonable price, and only three blocks away from Ban Jelacic square. Felt very quiet while we were there, even in peak season, but obviously this depends on the guests.
Very friendly and clean hostel in a good location. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, highly recommend.
I had a great short stay at this hostel. I was in a private room with ensuite and I feel it had as many facilities as a 4 star hotel - even offering toiletries & hair dryer. The place was very quiet and I didn't get to meet any staff as arrived around 5pm then left around 7am, but communication was great. A nice touch having an espresso coffee machine in the kitchen. Thanks I will definitely recommend.
The double room was cozy, clean and quiet - perfect for me. The hostel is just a short walk away from the old town.

Very nice, clean, easy to get to day trip pick ups & food. Staff was excellent, bedding was comfortable and the free coffee was very good as well. I would stay here again.
An amazing location close to all that Zagreb offers & the private room was just right! Enjoyed the common areas to hang out, met a few others too. extra nice touch to have an espresso machine, fruit, juices and tea always available. The hosts were wonderful in answering any questions and loved that their business card had a few local words for quick use. Would stay again for sure!
Excellent place! Clean, nice, good location, friendly staff. The way a hostel should be. Thank you!
Great experience. Well decorated, well stocked, great location, and had zero issues. Would come back.

one couldn't find better place to stay in not only in Zagreb; Most friendly hosts, cleanest, relaxed atmosphere, most inviting, located in the center of town; The lack of air condition, which is a 'virus' located all over Zagreb and has reasons related to strict Regulations and enforcement from city's municipality and not the willingness of the owners, makes a vacation in burning summer season almost unbearable theses days unfortunately
Amazing hostel. Amazing staff - helpful and welcoming with a smile. Place is kept clean and has everything a traveller could need. Fantastic location too. When we come back we’ll definitely stay here again.
Very convenient location. The owner was really nice and made it very easy to check in. Very comfortable and not noisy. Highly recommend.
Very clean & good value. We stayed in a private room, in June, & our bed was comfortable the shower had very good pressure & WiFi was excellent. We could use the fridge in the kitchen for food for breakfast - tea & coffee provided. It's a great spot for the train & bus station as well as the Old Town. It doesn't look great from outside though this gives you a look at life in Zagreb. Reception was easy to contact on WhatsApp and they helped us sort out bus times for our day trips too.
Very welcoming and helpful manager. Easy walk to Old Town. Spotless and comfortable.
The person at check-in was polite, friendly and very helpful, and we could speak English together. The hostel provides useful tourist information. We had a room with private en-suite bathroom, and both bedroom and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious. The hostel is nicely decorated and has a comfortable communal area, with complementary drinks (non-alcohol) and fruits. We appreciated that it was non-smoking inside the hostel. We would come back here if on a visit in Zagreb.
Exceptional hostel a few steps from Zagreb main square, with some of the best service I’ve ever had in a hostel. They came to meet us when we needed a room at short notice. Super clean and nice kitchen area. Outside looks uninspiring but once you’re inside it’s gorgeous!
