Vitae Hostel

Facilities were very gross, especially the beds and showers. The locks you had to put on the locker didn’t work. Also, no curtains on the beds, which would’ve been okay if there were curtains for the windows. There wasn’t. One of our beds hadn’t been made yet. The matrassen had some kinds of stains; I don’t even want to know what it is. They also split up our group, eventhough we booked the same room. The guests themself were nice! Wouldn’t recommend

Everyone here was super kind, both staff and guests. I loved the layout of the hostel, kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, + anything you need for cooking. Pretty clean, nice common area with couches and TV for chilling, overall very homey and a lovely stay!

I made lots of friends. Everyone was so kind. Staff was caring

First time visiting Budapest and I'll definitely be back, the staff were amazing and felt more like close friends than workers just managing the hostel. So many activities on offer to do during the day and in the evening, personally I'd recommend the caving xd.

SO much fun!! staff is so friendly, organized nights out each night, everyone i met there was so cool. extended my stay 2x bc it was so hard to leave❤️ missing it so much!

It was amazing

This was exactly what I think of when I think of a hostel. Cool people, social atmosphere, kitchen for the budget travelers, party at night. I LOVED how they gave the keycard on a watch strap that is waterproof, so no worry of losing my keycard! There was an incident on my last night where the guy in the top bunk urinated in his sleep and it dripped down to my bunk, but the staff was super accommodating and got me a new bed right away. Only thing I really don't like is no privacy curtains.

My experience was amazing. It is a fun and super social hostel. Cormac and Ashling made my stay unforgettable.

Everything amazing, will be coming back. The staff was the nicest, location, everyday activities with the hostel. As a solo traveler it was never as easy to make friends as the time I’ve spent at this hostel. Loved it 🔥

Good location but that’s about it. It’s in an old building where the elevator doesn’t work, so you need to climb up 5 flights of stairs every time. The smell of trash welcomes you as soon as you enter. For the hostel itself, it’s cheap so obviously basic, but expect janky showers, dirty toilets, and uncomfortable bedding. You’d think the activities would make up for it, but unfortunately all they do is tie up with some local business or bar and make you buy tickets for €25-50. Avoid ...

I had a very nice stay. The hostel has a very homie vibe and i felt comfortable. Take into account that it’s on the 4th floor and the elevator is often not working well

If you're looking to party, make friends and be social. This is the place to go, I had a brilliant time and met loads of great like-minded people!

When I was there, the elevator was broken, and the hostel is on the 4th floor, which made it hard to go up. Also, the bed wasnot were comfortable, and the locker box couldn‘t be locked, but the atmosphere and the socialize was great.

Vitae hostel is genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have the greatest time in Budapest. They organise daily activities and events and get everyone involved. This truly felt like home away from home. Thank you so much to Katie and Sarah especially for ensuring I was well looked after at all times. This is truly the best place to make new friends and experiences of a life time!! can't wait to return

Great hostel with great staff and activities!

I had plans to stay in Vitea for 2 nights. In the end, I stayed for 6 ... And I'll surely be back whenever I come back to Budapest. The staff was really nice. The place feels warm and it's always animated. It is the best place for you to enjoy the Budapest night life. If you're less party-inclined, all the volonteers will provide you with very helpful tips about what to do in the city. Special thanks to Ramuna and her love for the French culture. Made me feel at home !

12/10. I've been to 60+ countries & stayed in more than 200 hostels. Vitae hostel is unmatched. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming & they put on awesome events every evening. The kitchen is well equipped & there's a lovely balcony. Will definitely come back if I ever return to Budapest!❤️‍🔥
