Blanco Central Hostel

Very rude staff. they had so many unnecessary restrictions. all the rules were unfair and unusual for a party hostel.

Good location and nice vibe. Although, there were many things that made my stay not so comfortable. It was impossible to shut correctly the door of the room and same with the lockers that were useless. No curtains on the bed so no privacy at all and the door of the bathroom was more like a blind so you could hear everything or even look inside.

they tried to hold my passport during my stay, absolutely ilegal

Extremely unpleasant experience. The receptionist literally yelled at us in front of other guests over a misunderstanding about 50 baht, simply because we didn’t fully understand English. No patience, no sense of hospitality, no kindness. When you work at a hostel reception, the least you can do is treat guests with respect. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

The Thai staff were very nice and helpful but the guests were gross having sex in the dorm rooms other ones clearly ill there is also a mouse problem I personally saw one and there are mouse droppings all over the place

Didn't let me stay because of me not having a passport, which is ok, but still charged me. Avoid at all cost, ibiza hostel is genuinely better with more party and social life

Probably one of the worst hostels we stayed in in Thailand. A big part of this was a group in our dorm who were rude, unfriendly, and horrible to be around. The hostel itself didn’t help, as the communal areas weren’t very welcoming. Our room was next to an adult-oriented business, which was uncomfortable at times. Some reps were great, especially the girl from Salford who ran the boat party, but we overheard homophobic language from others. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Toaletten var äcklig med svart mögel. AC:n stängs av mitt på dagen om man inte betalar extra. Vägen till hostelet var obehaglig, full av bordeller där prostituerade tog tag i våra privata delar. Rummet låg typ i receptionen och sängarna hade inga draperier alls. Ett av de sämsta hostel jag bott på.

Horror House of PHI PHI Awfull Personal Dirty as shit and they keep your passport witch is so unprofessional the people working there are pretty unfriendly and unprofessional I had to check out early and got screamed at by the manager the bathrooms are disgustingly and you can’t sleep there until 3 am in the morning all in all one of the worst hostels I’ve visited

Don’t stay here! There’s no hot water in any of the rooms and after telling the staff this we were told they would get someone to fix it but nothing was done. The WiFi only works in some rooms, the mattresses are rock hard and there are no curtains on the beds and the rooms are damp and dirty. This was the most expensive hostel we’ve stayed in on our whole SEA trip and it was by far the worst! We were meant to stay for 4 nights but left after 2.

Great hostel, good vibes, clean and perfect location

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but I ended up checking out immediately because the management insisted on keeping my passport. When I asked why, the only explanation given was “management policy,” which felt unclear and concerning.

Good location, staff were friendly. Bathrooms were a bit gross & no curtains. The boat party states it is 1500 baht online, but when I asked reception they said 1600. - not sure why they threw the extra 100 baht on. seems a bit dodgy mate

Perfect for a central hostel

The location is ideal. Close to lots of food and bars options. The rooms and The common area are both good. The best thing is the events that are put on. The pub crawl and open bar are both very good value and great to meet people. All the staff and hostel rep were very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay again!

Great hostel! Perfect location if you want to party but still want to get some sleep at the end of the night! Shoutout to all the blanco staff for making the stay so memorable! Don’t miss the blanco boat party

Avoid! The hostel is dark, mouldy & frankly unwelcoming with no decent social area. We switched hostels but had already booked the boat trip which was hugely underwhelming for the extortionate price. Our biggest issue is with particular staff members. There was not enough food for us despite it being ‘included’ in the price of the boat ticket. We were disregarded after raising our concern over this, despite all the staff themselves having eaten. Definitely would not recommend - stay away!

An amazing social hostel with lots of activities and events planned. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Boot in reception. The beds were slightly hard and the bathrooms weren’t the cleanest but decent for the price you pay. Overall, I had an amazing time and the staff were lovely.

We only stayed for 2 nights but it was okay. It was very central so it was easy to just walk anywhere within 5 minutes. It get loud at night so would recommend earplugs if your are not out partying yourself.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the vibe was social better location than all the other hostels which are all in a row quite far from town whereas here you are right in town, only thing wrong was window was broken so room was full of mosquitoes but other than that it was good

I stayed here for two nights and it was a good time! It's super close to bars, restaurants, and nightlife. The location is fantastic. I also did laundry here and the service was really nice and convenient. I had both a private ensuite, and also a four bed dorm. Both were nice and relatively comfy 😊

The room is okay but literally the door to your room is right on the street and the window daces into a bar witg no sound proofing whatsoever. There are no curtains on beds and unfortunately you will share the room with some of the worst people you have ever met in your life because its a cheaper option on a very expensive party island
