Hangover Hostel

Als je niet in pure schimmel lucht wilt slapen met een bed dat kraakt. Zou ik dit absoluut afraden!

De deuren gingen niet op slot, er waren maar 2 douches en toiletten en de ruimte daarvoor was erg klein, de airco werkte niet goed, en het was niet goed schoon. Ook was er niet echt een gedeelde ruimte waardoor we helemaal geen sfeer was.

I extended phi phi and this was all that was available. The staff was very nice and the room/bed felt clean. However the bathrooms were pretty sketchy. There’s no lock on the door and I had the bed closest so I was worried someone would steal my things. Strong smell of sewage coming from outside but not sure if they can help that.

Horrible place. Not clean. Near impossible to get to the top bunk. Staff are not nice. Would not recommend.

Nichts besonderes. Kein wirklicher Social Bereich. Solo Travelern würde ichs nicht empfehlen, in großen Gruppen ist es okay.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, leider gab es aber Schimmel im Zimmer und im Bad. Die Tür war sicher verschlossen also man kommt ohne Karte nicht rein, aber es war trotzdem ein Spalt da.

We booked this as it was the last remaining hostel- if you’re just wanting somewhere to stay this is a good hostel. There’s no social activities but it is only two rooms so good to meet people. Free tea coffee and bananas and biscuits which was nice, and the ladies were nice and made sure the room was clean every day. No room key or lock to the room. Did get a towel which was nice ! Very basic but good if you’re stuck for somewhere to stay

Checked out of the hostel early because there was mold in the shower that the staff continued to call water damage even after they told us they’ve gotten complaints before. Absolutely no social atmosphere. The one boy rep is the only nice person. Beds are the most uncomfortable ones I’ve slept on but they did have curtains. Bathrooms were so dirty and while I slept smelt like sewer.

Er zijn 2 dorms. Je komt binnen door een schuifdeur langs de weg. Mijn locker zat in de andere dorm. Personeel is vriendelijk en locatie is goed.

One of the weaker hostels I’ve stayed in. Wasn’t told where the lockers were when I checked in (they were in the other room). Door was left open overnight, so anyone could walk in - which made me feel relatively safe. Thin mattress, thin pillows (managed to find the stock cupboard of towels so took 4 to boost the pillow). Not very social guests who wanted to get in any time between 10pm and 6am. Thin curtains, everything in the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC (pretty sure the sink would ...

Decent spot for the minimal options in the area. No real social aspect but lots of other events on the island to meet people

Honestly not the place to go if you want to socialise. It's just a place to sleep nothing more nothing less

Bonne auberge Propre Comme c’est la basse saison je me suis retrouvé seul ce qui est agréable d’un côté mais limite pas mal les rencontres…

Kann man sehr empfehlen, super netter Gastgeber!

We stayed here last minute after arriving at another hostel that was not stayable at all. It’s slightly out of the way from everything on the island but it means you can get away from noise. The lady on the front desks was so welcoming, would 100% stay here again!

A good cheaper hostel to stay in phi phi, hadn’t stayed in a hostel similar to this before. Close walking distance to everything and easy to find

Our stay at the hostel was overall good. There were only two toilets combined with showers shared between 12 people, but it was never really a problem. The location was very good, near the beach and far enough from the party’s.

great location! was social! amazing staff! could use keys for the door, it was always unlocked. but it was a safe area so it wasnt too bad!

Por la noche había personas “de fiesta” en la habitación, deberían ser más estrictos con esto. También una noche estuvimos sin agua caliente… no se si llegaron a arreglarlo. Las chicas que llevaban en hostel eran muy amables no obstante. Si fuera más barato entendería la situación pero a unos 20€ la noche no sale a cuenta

Really enjoyed my stay here, met some great people and the staff were lovely. Social hostel, but able to sleep as it isn’t located near the bars and loud music.

This hostel is a patio with 2 side by side rooms each with 5 bunk beds, 2 bathrooms, & lockers. The rooms have a sliding glass door to the patio. The "atmosphere" is dependent on who is sitting on the patio directly infront of the sliding glass doors into the rooms (can be very noisy). But! Beds were comfortable with good privacy curtains, AC worked with well, bathrooms were clean, and the free tea, coffee, cookies, & water were a nice touch. It is what you make of it, but not bad for sleeping.

Very chill. Right by the beach. Everything is a short walk.

Good stay. Lovely staff, free water, coffee, tea and biscuits which was amazing. Really good location, only 15 mins from pier and very close to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Booked my transport to next island.

Anyone can really access the hostel as it’s just a sliding door from the street directly into the room. Don’t see much of the staff but they’re lovely when around. Provide cold bottled water everyday which is lovely along with unlimited tea/coffee. Beds made everyday, toilet/shower difficult to be kept clean because some people are disgusting, very small showering space but no bother. Literally a 30 second walk from the beach which has loads of bars and fire shows. Overall is a nice hostel...
