Réservation de 2 lits en dortoir et le personnel a voulu nous mettre dans 2 dortoirs différents pour que nous payons un supplément pour aller dans le dortoir avec AC tous les 2 alors qu’il y avait de la place ! Dortoir sans clim étouffant Peu d'espace au bord de la piscine pour se poser Dans les dortoirs, une toilette pour 8 personnes et il n'y a pas de toilettes supplémentaires

After renting me a scooter, they took advantage of the fact that I hadn't parked in front of the hostel's security cameras to steal it while I was eating! They then made me out to be responsible to try and extort money from me! Please don't go here to support me!

- A truly terrible experience at this hostel. The dorms are dirty, poorly maintained, and the conditions for 8 people are unacceptable. The smell, lack of cleanliness, and extremely small space made it impossible to stay. There is only one bathroom for 8 people with no ventilation, no towels provided, no real sense of security in the room, and not even the option to choose between a mixed or female dorm. A bed was not even ready for another traveler who arrived at 5pm — they simply changed the sheets quickly. Another guest was occupying the room even though it wasn’t his bed. I was supposed to stay two nights but decided to leave immediately. My refund request was refused despite the poor conditions. After this experience, I moved to The Twist Hostel and the difference was huge: spotless cleanliness, comfortable dorms, a healthy atmosphere, and professional staff. I ended up staying there for a week without any issues. The comparison clearly shows the lack of standards at this first place.

- Какой то гигантский хуила зашел в 5 утра в мою комнату, светил в кровати под предлогом, что потерял свою комнату, мне пришлось выгнать этого ублюдка. Ночной сторож к этому событию интереса никакого не проявил. Днём на территории постоянно тусуется маленький ребенок, может я чего то не понимаю в воспитании, но по моему детей нужно держать подальше от алкашей и наркоманов, собирающихся в хостелах, а также педофильных белых стариков, которые тоже туда нередко забредают. Может для них вы девчонку и готовите? Жесть. Кроме этого, лично меня раздражают детские крики.

- No AC from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm WTF is the point of charge extra for AC room when you turn it off At the hottest time of the day There wasn't even a fan in the room the room was simply hell and even when the air conditioner was on it was very weak and didn't make the room cool even at night.

- the note is only aimed at the manager and absolutely not the staff who are professional unlike her. we wanted with my wife to book two more nights. the boss tells us "sleep in a dorm one night and the third in a private room" I look at her a little disappointed and she adds "it's only one night, please" I don't really appreciate the please but we accept even if saying please is rude. on the day in question, the staff told me that she had absolutely nothing reserved for the third night. on the phone she apparently indicates that she did not say that. my wife was sick and needed help. we spoke French our native language and things were perfectly clear, assume your lack of professionalism with your employees. you don't deserve them.

+ The best hostel I've stayed in Cambodia. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly (especially the afternoon crew), and the rooms are clean, modern, spacious, comfortable, and have lockers. The common area is well designed, comfortable, a range of different seating, and most importantly, 3 cats who come for cuddles. The crew are amazing, the vibes are chill, it's close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend you won't find a better hostel in Siem Reap!!

- After being kicked out of The Place Hostel in Siem Reap, I was taken in by another hotel; otherwise, I would have had to sleep on the street. The biggest advantage of the hostel that took me in was that the air conditioning was on almost 24 hours a day, and the room rate was only $3 USD. I could sleep in the bed when it was hot during the day and there was nowhere to escape the heat. The Place Hostel, on the other hand, charged $4.50 USD for an air-conditioned room, and it was off from 10 AM to 6 PM every day! Yet, it was advertised as an air-conditioned room! I asked the staff at The Place Hostel why, and the answer was—for energy conservation, for environmental protection, for Mother Earth! My goodness! What a perfect reason, flawless! I instantly felt my perspective was too narrow! And The Place Hostel had an even more classic policy: if guests chose to buy coffee or other food outside, they were considered unwelcome and could only stay for a maximum of 7 days. I only found out about this after staying for 9 days, so I was politely kicked out by the staff. I've stayed in hostels and hotels in at least 10 countries, and all the owners hoped I would stay longer. Only at The Place Hostel was I shocked by the owner's bizarre actions! This was the first time in my life I had experienced being unwelcome. I felt the owner of The Place Hostel was incredibly admirable. She sacrificed her guests' rights and experiences to protect Mother Earth, making her a truly respectable owner! So, feeling embarrassed, I quickly left and went to the hotel next door. There, I received the respect and understanding I deserved, and the experience was very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel—if you're willing to sacrifice your own stay experience.
