Robinson Sunset House

Absolutely gorgeous property with amazing views. The owners were so friendly and helpful especially with helping me figure out the public transport in order to get to my next destination. very special place, can't recommend enough!

Das Hostel ist sehr schön gelegen und toll ausgestattet. Ich war Anfang Oktober da, es war totale Nebensaison und ich war der einzige Gast. Sicherlich super, wenn man Ruhe genießen möchte, allerdings auch sehr einsam. Der Bus nach Ohrid fährt selten und nicht ganz zuverlässig, aber es gibt viele nette Mazedonier, die einen gerne mitnehmen.

If only I could give more stars! This place is mind-blowing. The locations is superb, it is the most beautiful set up, the pictures do not do it justice. The sunsets here are unreal and it's a real short walk down the hill to the beach. Easy access to Ohrid and St Naum via local bus from in front of the market. And then there is the fantastic hospitality from Tatianna and her family. She truely makes you feel welcome. Don't think, just book.

Excellent place with stunning views and great hosts. I have visited Robinsom Sunsethouse several times, and it always surprises me how each experience is unique. You can visit any time of year and never regret it. The facilities are well-equipped, offering something for everyone. For those wanting to experience the Ohrid region in the most authentic Macedonian way, visit Robinsin Sunset House.

Very peaceful spot on Lake Ohrid to relax. A slightly different hostel atmosphere as there are also other things going on at the hostel, there was a yoga retreat taking place at the time of my stay, the live music suited the place well. 5 min walk down to the lake and outside the town which I preferred (15 min cheap bus ride from town). I booked a 5 bed dorm and stayed in a private double bed for part of my stay. Only suggested is for the kitchen to be cleaned a bit more regularly

A magical place in a charming, serene area on Lake Ohrid. Dorm rooms were clean, had fridges and spacious bathrooms. The outdoor communal areas were incredible - built and maintained with lots of care, and had a stunning view over the lake. The lovely family and volunteers were very accommodating and generous. Easy to explore the surrounding areas with buses to Ohrid, and down toward St Naum/ the border. Can’t wait to come back!

IF YOU ARE IN OHRID THIS PLACE IS A MUST!!! I had such an amazing stay at this unique and beautifully built guest house. I couldn’t recommend enough to others. The family and staff were super friendly and the views you can’t beat.

Amazing spot to do day hikes and enjoy the amazing view of lake Ohrid. Tatiana her family and Abby are amazing hosts. Special mention to Buba (a black lab) who led us through the trekking paths. Love you Buba without you our stay wouldn’t have been the same.😁

Loved my stay, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Easy to get to with car or taxi. Cute dorms and comfortable bed. It was the second time i stayed here and i would definitely come back again!

Couldn’t recommend enough. Beautiful place perfect for relaxing for a few days. Is quite hard to access as the busses are awful but not hard to get a taxi for cheap. Could spend weeks here and all the staff are super helpful and friendly

You will not find better accomodation in Lake Ohrid than this family run guesthouse. The cabins are hand built by generations, carved out of the mountain. Mihail offers travellers an authentic experience that is impossibly rare these days. He took us in his boat to private beaches where we feasted. He, Tatiana and Abby made this an unforgettable experience for us. We even borrowed the canoe after checking out. Do yourself a favour, do not stay anywhere else! You wont want to leave Macedonia!

Best hostel we had stayed in on our europe trip. Within 5 minutes of arriving we knew we'd be coming back to in the future. Very relaxing and amazing views. Staff were super friendly, especially Abby, who was really helpful with anything we needed. We stayed an extra night to do the boat tour with Misha which was stunning. Boba the dog also came along. Cant recommend enough.
