I have mixed feelings about this one. The location within Xalapa is great, the hostess is very warm and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. A few considerations. It is not a hostel, but a homestay! If not in your room, you will sit in the 'common' space which is where the familie (of 6) also sits. There are children making quite some noise. There is a friendly, however pushy dog - if you don't like dogs this will be a burden. I was the only visitor - perhaps with more there is a different vibe

Un lugar para descansar de todo el agetreo de la ciudad y muy cerca al centro de Xalapa. Su anfitriona muy amable y cordial, además de comprensiva.

Muy bien ubicado el hostal. Es muy amplio y tiene una bonita área verde. La atención de los dueños fue excelente. ¡Muy recomendable!

Nice little place. The dorm is actually just 3 beds, so really relaxed. Well equipped big kitchen, market is nearby so you can cook or enjoy the great streetfood. Rooms are cleaned daily, shower is hot. Upgrade would be lockers as you cannot lock the room itself. Yet, it was very quiet and felt safe.

Good location, friendly approachable people, we were able to use the kitchen but most of the spices for our use were unusable (solidified in the container...that was disappointing.) The room was very clean.

Very Sweet and quiet hostel right next to the busy centre of Xalapa. Everything you need is there. The bunk beds have curtains and the bathroom was very clean!

Super cozy, familial and quite hostel. nice garden and great kitchen!

super fab room, and modern nice bathroom. the property itself is beautiful,with a high walled very green backyard. you feel very safe for sure and tucked away from the madness. the dorm is big with minimal beds so youre not cramped. kitchen is well equipped! its more like a boutique homestay, with a few privte rooms snd the family living there & people visiting them. not your standard backpackers social party vibe, but the family are LOVELY if you connect with them & chat.

Dit was een van de chillste hostels waar ik ben geweest. De eigenaresse is echt super lief (en haar dochter ook). Omdat het een rustig stadje is, is het hostel ook heel rustig, maar dat vond ik zelf wel heel fijn!

moldy smell inside the room. can hear the children stomping and playing upstairs above us. my friend got sick after staying there because of the moldy smells
