Jugendherberge Heidelberg International

Inzwischen so teuer wie ein 3 Sterne Hotel für ein Einzelzimmer, bzw. noch teurer, wenn man den Jugendherbergsausweis berücksichtigt. Dafür muss man noch das Bett selbst beziehen und die Bettwäsche wieder abziehen. Meiin Fenster ging in den Rauchverbot des Personals. Wenn das ganze 10 bis 15,00 Euro günstiger wäre, gäbe es die volle Punktzahl

I never had to pay for a late checkout for barely an hour; I was just talking with my roommates, with my stuff already packed, and the Romanian from the reception evicted me as if I was a leper. In the meantime another girl with a better English was accusing me of staying a night extra from my booking (?). I didn't even receive a warning. The jugenherberge chain charges you an extra 2€/night as a fee to get the partnership card, which is extra hidden costs I only discovered once I got there....

Good hostel, felt safe. Breakfast was really good. Room was on the expensive side and not massively clean (eg shower was dusty and pu***). Would be better if there was access to a kitchen too.

Sehr schöne Herberge

Great breakfast, most of the staff were really nice and helpful. Bus station is right around the corner. Only downside is that the wifi isn't secured and signal is non existend on the upper floors.

Alles top, auch das Frühstück. Das Abendessen habe ich nicht gehabt, aber es hat sehr gut ausgesehen und wurde von vielen Gästen genommen. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig und gut angebunden. Ein Zoo ist der nächste Nachbar, gut für Familien. Sehr ruhige Umgebung, man kann gut schlafen! Auch das Haus ist nachts sehr still! Gerne wieder!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately it’s located a little bit far from the center but it’s accessible by bus quite easily. Also there wasn’t any soap in my private room, which would’ve been appreciated. A part from this everything was clean and I don’t have any major complaint. Would stay again there.

Schronisko w super cenie, śniadania takie sobie, lokalizacja bardzo dobra, personel jest pomocny, małe pokoje bez TV, ale to schronisko!. Pozostałe posiłki w dobrej cenie. Ogólna ocena to 4+ na 5.

Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Alles top außer dass wir ein Zimmer auf der Sonnenseite hatten und es an diesem Tag 30 Grad heiß war. Das Zimmer war so aufgeheizt und hat auch nachts lange nicht runtergekühlt (mit offenen Fenster) sodass der Schlaf leider gelitten hat. Auch nach der Dusche war es sehr stickig im Zimmer... Außer an der Belüftung gibt es rein gar nichts zu beanstanden. Wir würden wieder kommen (an nicht so hießen tagen ;)

Sehr freundlicher und kompetenter Empfang. Alles sehr ordentlich. Wir kommen wieder :-)

This is a great professional hostel. On a 1 to 5 star rating it is easy to just give it 5* for everything. Giving more detail, modern building, lots of space, spotlessly clean, helpful staff, great food, 10* chef, excellent location, 15 minutes to city center and old town, very quiet location, great value for money with breakfast included. Ensuite private rooms are an excellent size. What more could you ask for.
