Hostel DownTown

I was really surprised when I got to this hostel, because it was so highly rated. Our beds in the mixed dorm had no curtains, and people of all ages were staying in the hostel. The lobby was dirty. The shower curtain in our bathroom was a blue tarp and the small from the bathroom was so strong, you could smell it from your bed. We did not feel comfortable staying here and had to find alternative lodging.

I stayed for 2 nights and got bitten by BEDBUGS I DONT RECCOMEND TO SLEEP THERE !!

Inappropriate treatment, the rooms were broken, they tried to get our money for everything, very bad food, they judged us without reason.

Trato inapropiado, puertas rotas, nos sacaron el dinero, mal desayuno, nos juzgaban sin motivos, todos unos desagradables y nos trataban mal por ser españoles.

I would not recommend this hostel. Despite having extremely strict rules, the overall conditions are very poor. The building is in desperate need of renovation and feels quite run-down. Even worse, there are bedbugs — something the staff is aware of, yet they take no real action to address it. The hostel is very basic and feels quite primitive. On the plus side, the staff is reasonably friendly, but that alone doesn't make up for the serious issues. Definitely not worth the stay.

ommend this hostel. Rude receptionist and staff. Prices for room accommodation overpriced. Mould in the bathrooms, no cleanliness. I do not recommend this hostel shout from the national class. The worst hostel on Národní třída!

Beware, one of the mixed dormitories of the first floor is infested with bedbugs. The hostel is aware but keeps renting the room. (Addendum: Since the hostel tries to delete my comment, I join a screenshot of the email they sent me.) Hopefully the receptionists managed to put me in another room but I got charged 6€ extra because the swap "made the software believe I did not pay the city tax" (even though I did and proved it). I felt pretty uncomfortable and sometimes unsafe, and ended up short...

I accidentally booked a “Women Only” room through Trip.com. As a male guest, I immediately contacted the hostel to explain the situation. I politely offered to accept even a 50% refund to resolve the issue fairly, but the hostel refused to provide any help or flexibility, strictly citing their non-refundable policy — even though they knew I could not stay in the room. While I understand that rules are rules, I believe some basic customer care and flexibility could have made a big differen...

Great for a few nights. Not noisy. Beds okay, clean linen. Recommend.

It didn't feel like a hostel at all! The ambience was drop-dead, the decor was non-existent, and the other travellers in the room were rude, probably because they don't have an age restriction. Felt more motel-like to me. I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay here. The only good thing about it was the location and the views of the Prague Castle.

O prédio é antigo e simples, mas é limpo, confortável e fica bem localizado. A cozinha é bem equipada e a recepção é boa. Os quartos tem camas simples, mas não tem ar condicionado, no geral é uma boa experiência para períodos curtos.

I stayed in the hostel for few days and it was great the only problem there had was with a person staying in the same dormitory with me. I have some diabetic issues and had to wake up maybe 3-4 times in the night to go to pee and this guy was angry for that. Next day when I went back this guy was gone also my track pants my jumper and my brush and shaving kit. I would just like to say to the management to please provide locks for every open cupboard what you have.

Good location, clean place and a special thank to Gaby that showed us Prague and took us to nice pubs. Thanks Gaby!

Amazing stay at this hostel in Prague! The atmosphere was friendly, clean, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to Gaby, who was incredibly kind and made everyone feel at home. She also organized great activities that helped guests meet each other and discover the city together. Thanks to her, my experience in Prague was even more memorable. Highly recommend this hostel!

Private room was great, overall great location, easy to get everywhere with great food nearby. the volunteer hostel host, gabby was great!

Gaby was the best host, she showed us around Prague, made us feel comfortable and showed us a good time, amazing woman and brought a good vibe to the hostel, would definitely recommend coming just too meet Gaby, thank you Gaby for making our trip great, I won’t forget it

I really enjoyed this hostel. Perfect location and walkable to a lot of attractions. The only reason I gave it a 4 on cleanliness is because the carpet in my room had debris that got stuck to my feet. The bathrooms and showers were very clean.

Good atmosphere and I connected with Alvaro. gave me information to enjoy the city and have a great time there even for the short time I was there

We had an amazing stay at the hostel! Everything was very clean and the people were friendly. There were daily activities organised by the team and Alvaro was especially helpful. Only inconvenience was a snoring woman in our room keeping us up, but that’s something you can expect in every hostel. Location is amazing, we were able to explore the entire city by foot. Another tiny annoyance was the (bleach) smell in the bathrooms, but we quickly got used to it.
