Ensuite/private bathroom unclear on Hostelworld booking site. Had to use shared bathroom which was not very clean

I didn't enjoy my stay at Central Lille Hostle. On arrival, I was not even offered a drink. I was then told that I have to pay an extra €4 for a towel, but there was no mention of this when I booked. I couldn't even get a cup of tea without having to pay for it. My stay at Central Lille felt like every little human need was monetized. I don't think I will return to this place anytime soon, nor would I recommend it to my relations.

A bit of a slower pace than near Lille Europe but still enough going on. Can be noisy as late night clubbers go home. A lovely new building with helpful staff but cleaning of rooms e.g. bins, toilet paper was poor. Also seemed like there was no heating.

Really good beds with a curtain. No kitchen to cook. Good and secure location.

Très bien placé, j'étais rapidement à pieds aux monuments de Lille. Lit confortable. Rideau du lit bien opaque, super pour la lumière. Chambre bien agencée (dortoir avec salle de bain privative). Espace du lit plutôt spacieux ! Très grand casier à disposition. La seule chose qu'il manquait était des endroits pour accrocher nos affaires (nous étions 6 personnes à partager la chambre). Bâtisse magnifique !

Perfect location, nice staff. I felt very safe. There is a very big locker to put your stuff in which was super nice. Only downside for me was that the mattress and pillows were not comfortable to me. However for the price I would definitely come back again!

I stayed here with my friend for one night and we loved it, it felt so fancy for a hostel, really comfortable bed, good clean bathrooms and warm showers, lots of places to sit and hang out, would definitely recommend this place if you visit Lille!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel! Even though I was staying in a dorm I felt I had privacy, with a curtain around the bed and ample storage. Everything was very clean and the staff were lovely. The location is ideal and the breakfast (which I recommend opting for) was fresh and tasty :)

I recommend this hostel for all! I was staying for one night in a women’s dorm that included a bathroom. When I arrived the staff helped me to carry my heavy luggage (can’t thank enough for that). The room was clean and I had a sense of personal space with the bed curtains. The bed was equipped with a few charging spots and a light.

Auberge de jeunesse très bien située, très moderne. Les lits disposaient d'un rideau, d'une prise et d'une lumière. Le personnel était très sympa. Je recommande à 100%!

Lovely old building, great bar (plus live music and Christmas market). Helpful staff (although often a wait as only one person was available to deal with multiple guests). 10-minute walk to Vieux Lille. Good bakery 5-minute walk away. Room well laid-out and bathroom mostly clean (a few hairs). Only thing to improve would be the heating in the bedroom. The newer part of the building is not as cosy as the older part.

Beautiful building and lovely room. Only problem is no kitchen! More like a boutique hotel rather than a backpackers hostel. Very clean though.

It lacks atmosphere but the place is amazing, one of the most stylish hostel I've ever stayed in. Really comfy as well, but the smell was unbearable due to a person living there for a long time.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean rooms, beds feel very private with the curtain, you have an en-suite bathroom and everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Great hostel, clean, perfect location, only like 20 or so mins from the train stations. They were filming something while I was there so the bar wasn't open so it didn't feel very social but all the other common areas are really nice. Not sure if it's mentioned anywhere but bring your own lock for the lockers!
