Nice atmosphere. Great hostel. Great location. I loved it

One of the more uncomfortable beds I’ve stayed on in SE Asia. It’s a good location in the sense that it’s central but you’d be better off staying at Sylvis or Stamps next door

Very strict with their rules. A little bit too much if you ask me.

That is really like sleeping on wood, and also making noise at every movement. Bathroom sink is dripping and the shower warmer sometimes shuts down. staff is fine and the location is just next to Stams where everyone are…

Great location, vibey and clean space. But the hostel lacks atmosphere. For the entire 5 days that I was there, only one in-hostel activity was held and they had nothing arranged for Friday night! The staff is very polite and largely helpful but I did have an incident where a staff member promised me a discount when I was extending my stay but did not inform others and when I came to pay back, he wasn't there and rescinded the offer on the phone. Food is average.

I booked this place because of the Karaoke night which was advertised but when I arrived it was completely dead. Staff could do more to create a better environment for people to meet and interact, but maybe it was too quiet in July. Also, there were a lot of warning signs for fines if people eat in the room, keep their shoes in the room etc. I guess they are used to dealing with a lot of issues relating to this but it made me feel like I was in a strict boarding school.

Quiet place if you don’t want to/can’t stay at Stamps. Social area is chill. The pods are good but since A/C is off during the day, the floor I was on (top) got SO hot during the day. Quite a climb on steep stairs too. This is fine if you’re out exploring all that time or hang out downstairs but in my case I was ill so it was kind of miserable.

Nice hostel in Chiang Mai. The bedrooms were huge!! The staff were kind of strict about shoes in rooms and some other rules which is understandable but felt a bit authoritative. Good location and next to stamps and Sylvis which are more sociable.

Not my favorite hostel. Weird energy. Would also not recommend doing laundry there - they lost a really nice pair of shorts and a cute tank :(

It was ok. There was no socialising whatsoever & I didn’t think the location was amazing apart from that it was next door to stamps. It was clean but there was a lot of maintenance work going on and so it was noisy. It did feel safe and the staff were nice, just not the best atmosphere

Really great place for the money. Not overly social but it’s around lots of other places to go

Absolutely loved this hostel! Staff are so friendly and accomodating. Rooms are huge, biggest I’ve ever seen in a hostel. There would usually be a group of 5-10 people downstairs for quiz nights/ karaoke which we liked because we could make friends easier.

Maybe the best hostel I've stayed in to date, friendly, fun and helpful staff, perfect spot to spend Songkran, good community and constant 10/10 atmosphere, great to meet new people and have quiet time too. Really great location and great dorms too

Second time I stayed at the Cabin and I must say it’s defensively one of my favourite hostels I’ll stayed in. It’s a very good place if you want to chill, party and socialise. Perfect location and amazing staff! Thank you for making my experience so good! I will miss you all and I will definitely come back one day. Love Franz

I stayed in the single bed dorm, honestly it was so comfy, it was basically my own private room within a room

Had a really nice stay! Staff were absolutely amazing and put events on most nights. Wasn’t extremely social but still moderately.

zentral gelegen, sauber. Die Betten sind allerdings sehr instabil, als oben schlafender kippt man fast das Bett um beim hoch klettern. positiv sind die großen Zimmer.

I loved my stay at The Cabin! The staff is so nice and friendly. Fun activities and the people you met there where amazing! Great location and you can walk everywhere. When I'm in Chiang Mai I will for sure come back here :)

The staff were so lovely but there was only 1 bathroom per dorm room, causing a bit of a line for the bathroom at times!

Great place, get location, attentive staff, allowed you to participate in hostel activities as much or as little as you were comfortable with. Very easy to create a routine here and learn of your favorite spots for food/to meander.

overall a nice hostel. unfortunatelly people taking drugs and noone is saying a word.
