Overall the Hostel is fine. I especially like the stairs up to the top bunks. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their laundry-service is very quick. But: The location is too far out of the town, definitely keep that in mind when you book. There are many (!!) mosquitos in the room, because the door doesn‘t shut. It is not super clean. Due to the high humidity everything always feels a little damp.

Nice, clean, and secluded location, but it wasn’t social and the reception is NOT 24 hours like it says here. I arrived at 3am from the night bus and thought I was going to have to wait overnight in the alley. Even during regular hours, the staff are barely ever at the reception and you have to track them down if you need something, and they never seemed like they really wanted to help me. Het was een goed verblijf zat voor mijn gevoel we verder van alles af. De fietsen die verhuurd werden waren niet geweldig maar betaalde er wel een groot bedrag voor. Ook was de boiler snel op en hebben sommige van ons koud gedoucht.

Me siento un poco estafada por el dueño del hostel. En un principio habíamos reservado en una localización y luego nos llevaron a otra, más apartada de la ciudad. Además, hicimos la colada y nos destrozaron bastantes prendas. Creo q además nos cobraron de más (210k mientras que en HCMC la hemos hecho por 91k). Very cute and beautiful hostel, but absolutely not social. Its also a little out of the center, no problem with a bike or grab tho.

A very quiet getaway away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Tam Coc. Rooms are very nice and the garden is beautiful. Found it a bit lonely as a solo traveller as no one congregated in the common areas, but it would make a nice getaway for couples or friends. The host is very helpful, though difficult to reach at times, saying its 24/7 reception is a bit of a stretch. The location is a bit awkward, being in the middle of a residential area off the beaten path, a bike is definitely recommend

Die Familie hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und war auch beim Buchen von Touren behilflich. Wir konnten Fahrräder und Scooter ausleihen. Das Frühstück war mit vielen Früchten und Spiegelei mit Toasts ein leichter Einstieg in den Tag. Wir hätten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in Tam Coc. Weil wegen Tet keine Taxis fuhren brachte uns unser Host zur Busstation. Vielen Dank dafür und die schöne Tetfeier im Kreis der Familie.

Haben uns hier wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt und für uns war die Lage perfekt. Nah an dem Stadtzentrum, aber nicht mittendrin, und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Fahrradtouren. Die Gastgeber-Familie ist auch super lieb und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite :) wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

The best hostel I have ever stayed at. People are unbelievably kind and helpful. I felt so safe and breakfast was lovely. I didn’t want to leave and wish I could’ve stayed for longer. Our private room was amazing with a balcony view and tv. V comfortable beds and good bathroom. Amazing value for money, I’d recommend this hostel to anyone. Thank you :)

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The dorms were ok, but Huong, the women who runs the hostel made up for it. She offered great recommendations and was very sweet talk to. Loved its location slightly out of town and very quiet and calm, but easy to access restaurants and activities by foot, bike, or motorbike.

For me, this was the perfect location, 15 minutes walking to the main area of Tam Coc but that’s what it makes it more calm and authentic. It’s true that the noise of the frogs is insainly loud but to me that was kind of pleasent. Very good beds and perfect cleaning. For the price I’d said is way much better than everywhere else.

It was such a lovely homestay. There was a beautiful garden, the host helped us with what in Tam coc we should visit, and you could rent a bicycle there. It was a quiet and safe place, and the breakfast was delicious. I could definitely recommend!

Wir hatten zwei tolle Nächte bei einer unglaublich liebevollen Gastgeberin. Es war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit und wir komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

I loved my stay at the Palm House!! After a couple days in Hanoi I just wanted something quiet and slow and this Accom nailed it! It's very small and runs by the family business, they are super lovely and helpful! We had a 4-Bed dorm but had it all to ourselves. The rooms are spacious and the facilities clean. Breakfast is made fresh in the morning. You can book a bike or motorbike for the day to explore the area. It's about 15 minutes walk to the main area, therefore really quiet in the night.

Spacious+clean rooms and a good shower. I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. The host family was very helpful. I had trouble finding a taxi from the bus station to the homestay but the husband picked me up. The location is just outside the center of Tam Coc, easily reachable by bike. Not a lot of guests around the homestay. I used laundry service as well.

we had a lovely stay, it's such a beautiful place, and very quiet away from the center, but accessible easily by foot or bike. the room was spacious, nice bathroom and everything was very clean. Our host helped us with everything. highly recommand !!

Excellent tout simplement, l'auberge est top, les dortoirs sont classes, le personnel est adorable et très arrangeant, très peu cher, franchement je recommande vivement !

Had such a lovely stay here! The hosts gave us a great map with activities and places to visit around Tam Coc and you’re able to rent motorbikes and bikes on the spot. The private room was clean and big. Do keep in mind that it’s a little bit outside of the main area in Tam Coc.

Was a beautiful place to stay whilst exploring Ninh Binh. Very close to a lot of spots and has a beautiful garden view. The hosts are lovely people, very friendly and they offer services like rental bikes to make getting around Ninh Binh so easy. I would stay here again!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli lors de notre séjour au Tam Coc Palm House. Le petit jardin est très sympathique, le coin calme et les chambres très agréables. La famille qui gère les lieux est au top, nous avons reçu de super conseils sur les activités a faire dans les alentour. Seul regret : ne pas rester plus longtemps ! Allez-y les yeux fermés !
