I had a terrible experience in this hostel. when i arrived there was no one at the reception nor any way to contact the staff. in the room there were drunk men who were screaming, banging on doors and entering without permission, creating a situation of total insecurity. when i managed to contact a gentleman from the hostel to ask for help, he replied in very bad ways that i could not do anything and that if i wanted to change rooms, i had to pay another night apart. i felt completely unprotecte...
Please do not stay here! It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review but this place has bedbugs! I recently stayed (thankfully for only one night) in room 42 which is a 6 bed dorm and it was filled with the critters. We all woke up at 4am because one girl said she had been bitten and saw a bedbug, upon closer inspection, there were loads of them. When I got home I had to check all my belongings for bed bugs, then wash and tumble dry on high heat to make sure any eggs were dead. They did give me ...
try to find another hostel. i was eaten alive by bed bugs and would not suggest staying here. i stayed for two nights and received around 7 bites altogether. the bites were extremely itchy and red, i had three on my arm, two on my shoulder and unfortunately two on my face.
This hostel have bed bugs ! I figured it out late (00h) and as there is nobody at the reception, I call the "24h" numéro. Twice, no answer. At 1h30, finally they answered and give me another room. I couldn't find any bed bugs in this new room but slept afraid of having some. This new room was a mixed one, but I paid for a female one. I asked for refund. unpersönlich Check in über eine Maschine. Unfreundlichen Personal das total desinteressiert ist. Keine Rückmeldung auf E-mails. Bettwanzen in den Betten. Mitten in der Nacht versucht jemanden zu erreichen - vergeblich. Keine Sekunde geschlafen und bis heute noch keine Rückmeldung vom Manager wegen Rückerstattung erhalten. WENN EUCH EURE GESUNDHEIT WICHTIG IST, DASS MEIDET DIESES HOTEL.
unpersonal Check in via a Machine. Unfriendly staff that is totally uninterested. No feedback on e-mails. Bed bugs in the beds. In the middle of the night trying to reach someone - in vain. No second sleep and to this day still no feedback from the manager for refund. IF YOUR HEALTH IS IMPORTANT, THAT MEEDES DIES HOTEL.
Lugar súper incómodo. El inodoro da al comedor y no tiene lavamos. Las duchas dan al comedor. La cocina es solo un microondas y una heladera. Las camas no tienen intimidad alguna. No existe personal solo una máquina. 0 ambiente, es un lugar para dormir si no tenes donde caer muerto.
The toilet goes to the dining room and there are no sinks. The showers and the dining room. The kitchen is just a microwave and a refrigerator. The beds have no privacy. There is no staff just a machine. No ambience, it's a place to sleep if you don't have anywhere to fall dead.
The Oldtown in Tarragona is beautiful but what I didn't like about my stay was the hostel. As there is no reception it's more difficult if you have any problems. I didn't feel comfortable in the mixed dorm with an elderly man, my food got stolen out of the fridge (there is no stove) and it's difficult to get in touch with others. I was solo travelling there. If you book a double room with someone else and not the dorm, I imagine it could be a very nice hostel.
En general me sentí insegura durmiendo en este lugar, la noche que estuve se escuchaban peleas de algunos huéspedes y como no hay personal en el lugar, la verdad no quise ni salir de mi habitación, habían gritos, peleas y se escucha absolutamente todo de las habitaciones de al lado. El baño es muy incómodo, tiene olor a humedad y el espacio de la ducha es muy pequeño, se inunda todo el baño ya que no tienen un plato de ducha apto para el espacio. In general I felt insecure sleeping in this place, the night I was there they were hearing fights from some guests and since there is no staff in the place, the truth is I didn't even want to leave my room, there were screams, fights and absolutely everything can be heard from the next rooms. the bathroom is very uncomfortable, it smells of moisture and the shower space is very small, it floods the whole bathroom as they don't have a shower tray suitable for the space. a shame because the locati...

Do not recommend this place. A machine is there to check you in, no human in sight. Therefore, people sneak in more people than they say are sleeping there. Bathrooms are kind of gross, the toliet paper was always empty. The beach nearby was awesome, that is the one draw. People woke us up from partying very late at night. No privacy curtains on the bed and the lights always turn on. Need earplugs and a blindfold to sleep here!

I have very mixed feelings about this hostel: I don't even mind that my room was on the fourth floor no elevator, but no real kitchen is terrible (kettle and microwave). Some local guests do not know what "NO HACER RUIDO" means: there's no opening and closing hours of the common areas so people were loud at all times. Ubicación ideal. Nuestra habitación revoltosa pero por el tipo de huéspedes que había. Fácil check in. Falta cortinas en las camas
Our room was revolting but for the kind of guests there were easy check in. no curtains in the beds
local agradavel, facil acesso, sala de convivencia adequada, banheiros limpos, e cozinha muito pratica. em especial as funcionarias da manutenção, profissionais e super dedicadas aos hospedes.
Nice, easy access, adequate living room, clean bathrooms, and very practical kitchen. especially as local maintenance officials, professionals and super dedicated to guests.
One of the best hostels i've been to, yeah it's not that big but if you want to spend a calm holiday it's the one, and you have a view on a place where you have restaurants and bars

Le Check in se fait uniquement sur une machine, ce qui est bien dommage puisque je n’ai eu aucun contact humain excepté avec le personnel de ménage qui est très aimable et souriant. The check in is done only on a machine, which is a pity since I have had no human contact except with the housekeeping staff who are very friendly and smiling. this would have been appreciated in an inn where there is no space of conviviality or special ambience. the room alone looks more like a doctor's waiting room. otherwise, the inn is well placed.

Fantastic place to stay
Check in erfolgte über den automaten, da es keine richtige Rezeption gibt. Nach mehreren Anläufen hat’s dann geklappt. Ich hatte extra den female dorm gebucht, bin dann allerdings aufgrund von Bettwanzen die ich in allen betten gefunden habe, umgebucht worden. Die Dame am telefon war sehr freundlich und ich habe mich ernst genommen gefühlt, jedoch bezweifle ich, dass das Hostel nichts von dem Befall weiß. Eine Erstattung für den mixed dorm mit mehr betten wurde nicht einmal erwähnt.
Check in was done via the ATM, as there is no proper Reception. After several attempts the hat then knocked. I had booked extra the female dorm, but then was rebooked due to Bettwanzen which I found in all the beds. The Lady on the phone was very friendly and I felt taken seriously, however I doubt that the Hostel knows anything about the Befall. A refund for the mixed dorm with more beds was not even mentioned.
Seemed pretty clean, great location and very quiet, however it was difficult to use the electronic check in and couldn’t ask for any help as there is no staff on site. Tried messaging them for a hand and didn’t get a response for 12hrs. Very little privacy in dorms but understandable for the price point. Door into common area was glass and the lights were automatic so room is lit up every time someone walks through, very annoying in the middle of the night.
Uno dei migliori ostelli in cui abbia mai alloggiato. Tutto lo staff è gentilissimo e disponibile. Le ragazze delle pulizie sono efficentissime. Tutto veramente pulito e spazioso. Anche le camerate. Cucine dotate di ogni cosa. Posizione dell'ostello ottima e comoda per raggiungere qualsiasi posto. Ci torno sicuramente se mi fermo a Tarragona! Complimenti!
One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. All the staff is very kind and helpful. The cleaning girls are very efficient. Everything is really clean and spacious. Even the roommates. Kitchen with everything. Hotel location is excellent and convenient to reach any place. I will definitely come back if I stop in Tarragona! Congratulations!
Mitarbeiter kann ich nicht wirklich bewerten, da ich mit der Maschine eingecheckt habe. Jedoch hat mir ein Mitarbeiter bei Problemen weitergeholfen und es hat alles geklappt. Ich war im Damenschlafsaal und das war ganz okay, das Bad war jedoch ein bisschen heruntergekommen, auf meinem Bett lag keine Decke, keine Vorhänge am Bett, also keine wirkliche Privatsphäre. Abends hat es gewummert als würde man über einem Club schlafen der den Bass komplett aufgedreht hat (vlt auch nur in diese Na...
I can't really rate staff as I checked in with the Machine. However, a Problems Staff member helped me further and it all worked out. I was in the Ladies' Bedroom and that was fine, except the Bathroom was a little down, on my Bed lay no Ceiling, no Curtains am Bett, so no real privacy. In the evenings it was like sleeping over a club that had the bass completely up (even in that night).

Top pour une première expérience. Très propre, tout est très facile La cuisine est bien, possibilité de laisser des choses au frais dans le frigo commun J'aurais aimé avoir un cadenas pour sécurisé mes affaires. Heureusement je n'avais pas de valise sinon j'aurais été moins sereine car mes bagages seraient resté dans la chambre sans réel casier.
Very clean, everything is very easy The kitchen is good, possibility to leave things cool in the common fridge I would have liked to have a lock to secure my things. luckily I did not have a suitcase otherwise I would have been less serene because my luggage would have stayed in the room without a real locker.
