HI Truro

HI Truro was cute and spacious. With the exception of some stained sheets, it was very clean. The wifi worked well. I was able to stream and download episodes on my phone while in the common room. Staff was super kind and helpful. It said breakfast included but there were only oatmeal packets and granola bars. Location was beautiful, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Would definitely recommend for something budget friendly.

Upstairs rooms very very hot. Very hard to sleep. Check in process was interminable (Wi-fi slow?)

OK, très chouette localisation. Ventilateurs dans les chambres sont très bruyants. Petit-dejeuner decevant. c'est OK pour une auberge de jeunesse, personnel sympa.

What a great place and a wonderful stay. Fantastic staff snd guests. I loved it. It would be helpful if the bus could do a drop off and a pick up!

Excellent place to go to. Right on the beach where you can be woken up or fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. Very friendly and personable staff! Staff accommodated needs over and beyond what is expected. I will definitely be back next year!

Superior location, Katherine was wonderful and the facility was outstanding!

Great value for money! Would stay here again. The location is next to truro beach but far away from main cities. However, the bus station right outside the hostel makes the travel easy

Best Hostel i've ever stayed in! The Place is awesome, only a 3 Minutes Walk to the Beach which is very beautiful. The People and the Atmosphere was also great.

Such a great hostel, worth friendly people. A real gem of a place, perfect to unwind, wake up and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic!!

Very nice hostel ideally situated right by the beach. The atmosphere was very friendly and the kitchen is great. I was surprised to learn that alcohol is prohibited inside the hostel (because it is in a national park) so expect a good detox for your liver ;P

I absolutely adored my week at HI Truro. The staff and guests make this quaint hostel something special. The facilities could use some updating, but honestly it grows on you. I would recommend bringing some sort of transportation, be it car or bike- the nearest place to buy food is a 2 mile, hilly ride away. Not a ton to do nearby besides go to the beach, but that's kind of the point. Come prepared to make friends, get some sun, and enjoy the quiet.
