Avoid this hostel if possible. It's located on two halves of a noisy road, far from Split (40 min by bus), and in poor condition. The kitchen is dirty, mattresses have stains, and the AC filter is clogged with dust. The shower is broken, doors don't lock automatically, and it's cash-only in 2024, which feels sketchy. Outdated bunk beds have no ladders or privacy curtains, and there's only one outlet in a four-bed dorm. The one plus: it's by the sea, but that's not hard to find on the coast.

Il letto era pienissimo dei cimici da letto che mi hanno bloccato di dormire di notte, era un problema così grande dovuto cancellare la vacanza intera. L'ostello non ha fatto niente di risolvere il problema quindi son'andato via dopo due notte.

We booked a private room, but it looked nothing like the photos: two yellow metal beds with mismatched mattresses (one with springs), no duvet, no curtains, no furniture—not even a chair. The room felt empty and makeshift. Very poor value for money. To access shared areas, you have to cross a dangerous, busy road. Bathroom was clean and staff was kind, but that didn’t make up for the rest.

I had higher expectations. The staff seemed nice enough and it was decently clean. People kept stepping on sea urchins and the road situation felt a bit hazardous, but that’s not really the hostels fault. We got keys but the room/building was never locked. My bunk was incredibly uncomfortable and also fell apart in the night. Overall it just wasn’t my vibe, I feel like the ratings I saw aren’t totally accurate.

I would of given this place 5 stars but they offer you a laundry service that is 10 euro so I took them up on it and they returned my clothes wet in a bag the morning I was supposed to check out and my entire wardrobe smelled like mold. How do you offer someone a wash for 10 euro, that’s like $13 US. They don’t even have a place for you to hang dry the clothes. Cool people that own it but absolute robbery and now my entire suitcase smells terrible. Also far from split. Stay somewhere else.

Really don’t know how this place has such high ratings. -the only 2 showers arnt mounted onto the wall -dead cockroaches in the toilets -it’s cash only in 2025 -everything is so outdated -weird vibes from the family -really bad smell in the common room -only 1 toilet for all the rooms -no lock on the main doors -you have to cross a really busy and noisy road to get to your room -not very social -everything had a musty smell -had no toilet paper for 2 days of my stay -n...

Zero security, front door open all day, 2 lockers in a room for 6. The rooms are basic but clean. Top bunks are narrow and have no railings. The hostel is right next to a main road so you can hear the cars throughout the night. The kitchen and communal area is across the road so you need to cross with cars going past at 50mph. Only 2 toilets for 12 people. Saving grace was communal area and good atmosphere. Staff were also lovely.

I expected a surfer camp vibe and this hostel definitely had a special vibe between the guests. The house is very old so not all was functioning. Big minus that there aren’t lockers and it’s also not really possible to lock the doors. Staff was very nice and chill!

La struttura è a una mezz’oretta da Spalato, quindi in macchina è relativamente comoda. Abbiamo prenotato per una camera con letto matrimoniale privato e bagno in comune e ci è stata data una camera con bagno privato quindi top! Unica pecca, nella descrizione c’è scritto parcheggio gratuito, il che lascia intendere un parcheggio vicino alla struttura, ma in realtà non dispone di un parcheggio vero e proprio, per parcheggiare dovete cercare lungo la strada anche a 200/300 metri ed esser...

Great place to relax, away from busy tourism. The people working there are helpful and fun. The only remark I have is that the rooms could use a renovation (are least the private one I had). But overall a great place to stay.

This place is to die for. Best experience ever. Right in the water, friendly people running the place, and great people staying.

I love this place. One of the few hostels I have discovered where I prefer hanging out at the hostel than the main attractions in town

An absolutely beautiful hostel. I had a great time here and would stay longer. A glitch in the system made it so I was the only guest while they were doing renovations, but the staff upgraded me to a private for free!You can tell the family truly cares about the guests. Would definitely stay again! Being just outside of Split, it is so much more secluded and peaceful, incredibly relaxing

The vibe in this place was amazing. Perfect spot to read a book, swim, have chats, play chess and just slow down. They're bringing new things in too (beanbags, floating pontoon) so I can imagine it's going to get even better

Insgesamt ein sehr sehr gutes Hostel, top Ausstattung in der Küche und man kann kostenlos Schnorchelsachen und SUPS benutzen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr cool und die Familie ist sehr nett! Der einzige negative Punkt ist, das Haus in dem man sein Bett hat, liegt direkt an einer großen Straßen. Preis Leistung wirklich top, eines der besten Hostels in denen ich je war!

Felt like home, i never wanted to leave. By far the best hostel I've ever stayed at, great people, very social, amazing location at the beach. Free SUP and snorkeling equipment. I will definitely be coming back, thanks for everything Nikola.

Es ist ein richtiges cooles Hostel direkt am Meer. Mir viel es richtig schwer zu gehen. Der Vibe ist super entspannt, man lernt sehr schnell coole Leute kennen und es ist der perfekte Ort, wenn man einfach etwas abschalten kann will und nicht viele Menschen oder eine Stadt um sich braucht😊

this was the best hostel i have ever stayed at. i kept on extending because i did not want to leave. the staff and the manager Nikola are amazing, accommodating, and friendly, and the hostel property is so beautiful. you can use any of the water equipment like the SUPs or just swim in the sea right off the garden. definitely stay here if you are coming to Split and want to relax.

To have steps right into the sea is amazing. The hostel is great if you are looking for a quiet relaxed place as it is quite far out of Split and the buses to get in and out can take over an hour due to traffic. (Also quite hard to get back at night). The bunk beds in our room didn’t have ladders which makes it a little awkward if you don’t know the person you’re sharing with. Staff were lovely although one of the guests did more work than one of the staff members?

The hostel’s private beach was nice and it was really social and great ti meet people. The space in the fridges and the kitchen was very limited at times. Otherwise Nikola was an extremely friendly host would recommend if you don’t want to stay directly in Split
