Heye Youth Hostel (Xi'an Bell Tower)

Great spot, cheap. A room for $20 is unheard of. Clean. Lobby is small and boring- no hostel activities to meet people. Friendly staff but no English.

Really loved this hostel, amazing value for money on the private room. Extremely spacious and we liked having gym equipment in the room! Good location, walking distance to a bunch of attractions!

Tolles Hostel, ganz in der Nähe des Belltowers. Sehr freundliches Personal und genügend Privatsphäre in den Schlafsälen durch Vorhänge an Betten. Danke :)

The only bad thing about it is that I stayed there for such a short time, the hostel was very central to everything and the guys at the reception advices me and helped me to organise what to do with the time I had in Xi’an. Bed were spacious and comfortable and having the shower in the room made it feel easier too! That’s is a great choice highly recommend

If you're coming to Xi'an you HAVE to stay here. Amazing hostel. Staff is great and helpful. Modern, yet has a touch of old. Aac in the room. Shampoo, hairdryer, towel, free laundry washing provided. Wide beds, no need to climb when up as there are stairs. Great place to be if you're in Xi'an

Je recommande vivement cet Hostel, bien situé, moderne avec un personnel agréable.

The private room I was in had workout equipment which was a really random cool perk. Anyways, quite quiet place. Good and clean. No real socializing going on, which was a bummer, but no big deal. One staff speaks good English, the others are more likely to give you incorrect information, even with a translator, which was a pain a couple times.

Okay. The hostel is decent. It’s just a few small things are wrong. The bathroom is the first thing you enter, and while the windows are misted, you can still see people’s silhouette when they are bathing/ on the toilet. NOT COOL! Staff are helpful but do not speak English. Location is around 15 mins walk from nearest metro station so is okay.

Friendly staff, limited english, but they tried their best to help. Laundry facilities were amazing, just what I needed after many days traveling. Met a friendly Chinese english teacher there who books a shared room specifically to practice english with foreigners…super cool.

We were really impressed by how friendly and helpful the front desk staff were and also by how well equipped and comfortable our room was. Thrilled to discover a cable machine and workout station in our room!! The location is amazing, close to everything in Xi'an. Amazing value for money. Would stay here again.

The staff struggle with English, there was only one lady who speaks a bit english that is available at reception during the day time until 4pm. Getting advice or hints was not easy mainly because of the language barrier. As for location is not very far but you need to walk for 15minutes to get to the bell tower, and a bit more than 20min to reach the drum tower.

Zeer matig hostel (ik zou het ook geen hostel noemen). De plek is volledig in verbouwing. Het leek wel alsof onze kamer de enige was die klaar was: overal stof en werkzaamheden. Ik zou deze plek niet aanraden. De locatie was wel goed en het personeel is vriendelijk.

Very nice would stay again. Issue with people smoking in rooms and staff English level is very poor.
