Hotel Mikaso

Beautifully situated at the lake. Restaurant also really nice. Rooms really need renovating. No warm shower was also not great. No cleaning service in my room either.

Wunderschöne Aussicht, aber alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dunkel. Insgesamt ein fairerer Preis für ein Doppelzimmer, aber nichts besonderes. Wir hatten einen kleinen Skorpion in der Dusche, dieser wurde aber sofort und ohne Probleme vom Personal entfernt!

This is a great place to stay in San Pedro! its located very close to the local ferry doc and a 10 minute walk to the Panajachal doc. The restaurant attached has fantastic coffee/breakfast and dinner. Bars are just around the corner (Ola Bar is the best) and its a very walkable area. Rooms are pretty basic, but overall a very good stay.

A very pretty hotel. Furniture is a bit dated but adds to the charm. Staff were lovely. Nice and quiet. A bit of a walk to the main road in San Pedro (dark alleyways which can be a bit scary to walk home at night as a girl).

Really enjoyed our stay at Mikaso. Located on a beautiful spot on the lake away from the chaos of the main part of San Pedro La Laguna. Rooms were clean and facilities were great. Only complaint is the shower could’ve been a little warmer but otherwise everything was great

nice rooftop, but didn´t think my room was cleaned. My bed sheets were full with hair, so I slept on a towel.

The place was beautiful, a lil hard to find at first since it’s literally kinda an alley. The location is prime and enjoyed my stay there so much, they were extremely helpful with information about the town and activities.

Good for the price - beautiful views of Lake Atitlan, was convenient to have a restaurant attached, enjoyed being able to rent kayaks.

i adored this place aand would absolutely book again. my room had an amazing view of the lake and was clean and tidy. staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and i loved the top floor restaurant. you can also rent a kayak right off the back porch which was lovely. great value and a great stay 👍

Gorgeous views, well equipped kitchen. The rooms are light and spacious with nice furniture and nice bed linen. Felt so relaxed and comfortable here thanks to the kind owner too. Couldn’t recommend higher!

the single bed solo room/bathroom was perfect for a solo traveler. def with the extra few bucks for the privacy. the neighborhood is quiet but great bars and restaurants in a 5-10 min walk

this place is amazing. it is right on the water and has a pool table on the terrace. the kitchen has everything you could need. it is a bit of a further walk to things given its proximity to the water, but that makes the beauty of it. great stay !

From the moment we were greeted by the warm charm of Jacquelina we have nothing but great things to say about Mikaso. Friendly staff with excellent suggestions, even when it came to a laundry service just around the corner. Easily accessible for an average fit person. It’s just far away enough from the bars that you have a peaceful quiet sleep from the soft geophony in the background but still close enough walk to everything you need we never needed to take a tuk tuk. Highly recommend!

A wonderful little oasis in San Pedro! Such an amazing spot right on the water. The place has a rustic charm that makes you feel like you’re living in a story book, it has a back deck right on the lake, as well as a huge terrace with wonderful views, and a lovely restaurant upstairs! The staff are also very friendly and helpful :) Such a relaxing spot with great value.

Apart from the ant infestation which got most of the way round our room, it was a very pleasant stay with a nice view of the lake, plenty of places to relax, and helpful staff. The small walk from the town centre is worth it if you value your sleep as they have a 10pm curfew.
