Astoria Hotel

The apartment room i ended up in was 5+ minutes away from the hotel. It’s not easy to just go back and ask something. My apartment number was 210, which i thought was on the 2nd floor, but it was on the 5th. It took me 15 minutes to figure out where my room was (tried calling via WhatsApp with no success, then walked all floors). They should write the floor on the key along with the address and room number. The staff was nice, but they need to iron out some stuff on the service side of things.

Private room for the same price as a hostel dorm in most Europe cites? Yes please. All in great condition, couldn't ask for more.

Weird. The hotel also has apartments all over. I didn’t think I'd booked that. Close to train, which was good. Here's the big deal. Three keys were needed to get into the apartment: outside door, hallway door on the 2nd floor, and door to room. The room door and floor door both needed the key to get out, too. Super bad fire hazard. All I kept thinking was if I needed to exit fast, it'd be very difficult. Anyway . . .

Horrible location, a super dangerous place to be a woman alone. The apartment is not attached to reception and is 5 min from reception. I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

This was a very good option for me and my situation - I needed to stay in Bologna just for one night. I ended up being allocated to one of the little apartments - it was ok, but there were some weird options. Such as the closet door by the bed being always open because the safe sticks out, and the A/C not being very good (a rule in Italy, as far as I know). But the place was nicely renovated, very clean, and well placed. The one thing that really bothered me was that the Wi-Fi was not working.

A very spacious hotel room at a great price. If you ever stay the night in Bologna, I recommend booking here.

Stayed in the apartment and the unit was great. Very clean and spacious. I would stay here again.

Room was huge, modern and generally really impressive. TV with Youtube and Netflix, kitchen and lovely bathroom. Close to city centre and great value for money.
