Blue House B&B

Warm, clean, nice location for walks, can spot the lights if you look closely!

I stayed in one of the other properties, not the main Blue House itself. The private room was large with a shared bathroom. The facilities were a bit dated, but the location is good, especially for seeing the northern lights if the weather cooperates.

Only spent a quick night here before we had to jump on a plane to the Netherlands. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and even made us breakfast the night before so that when we left at 3am we have breakfast. Amazing! The room we had in the Green House was SO cozy and warm. We loved it! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our time at the Blue House and will stay again when we are in the area!

Highly recommend this BnB! It feels like a great, classic bed and breakfast. Staff are friendly, helpful, and hospitable.

Blue house is a good value for the price. It is not in downtown, but it is easily accessible by bus. And since it is further out, we got to see the northern lights right outside. Overall, good!

Eravamo nella Green House (due stanze private con cucina, sala, bagno in comune). Luogo tranquillo e appartato della città. Personale disponibile. Struttura senza pretese. Riscaldamento non funzionate nelle parti comuni (usavano scaldabagni per riscaldare la casa). La mia ragazza ha perso un orecchino per cui l'abbiamo cercato nella stanza: sotto il letto la pulizia mancava da molto tempo.

We really enjoyed our stay at the blue house. It is really cozy and lovely decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful. We felt very welcome.

A perfect spot for our short stay in Reykjavik. The room was bright and spacious. The shared bathrooms were cute, clean, and functional. The staff were super welcoming.

B&B not as expected after looking at photos & reading reviews. In a residential area. Arrived late had the code to enter. Not a problem. Hard to be quiet as floors creaked, Stairs are narrow & glad did not need to bring in suitcase just backpack. Triple room was two adjoining spaces. Space that enter hallway did not have a lock only a hook on the sliding door. Walls thin. Shower downstairs. Bedding didn't feel fresh. No info given re: food available or make your own. Would not stay again!

Simply perfect!

Der Aufenthalt war echt super! Es hat alles super geklappt. Der Selbst-Check-In war einfach, die Mitarbeiter vor Ort super freundlich und verständnisvoll. Sie haben bei Fragen immer geholfen. Es gab eine große Küche mit sehr viel Ausstattung, einen großen Wohnbereich mit Tisch und Sofa und 2 Badezimmer. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet und auf dem Fernseher gab es auch Netflix. Es gab immer frisches Gebäck und Obst. Auch die anderen Gäste waren sehr nett. Man ist sich nie in den Weg ge...

Amazing stay

Superb location. Super close to the lighthouse viewing point for the Northern Lights. The staff member who we mostly dealt with, Adele, was fantastic (and only in her first week on the job!) Unfortunately a couple of sour points - Kitchen wasn’t that clean and communication from other staff members when we encountered a problem with our door could have been better.

A lovly Place.

We stayed in the garden accommodation. It might be a youth hostel but it felt like more. I would definitely recommend staying here.
