Long Story Short

Don't be fooled by the name. This is not a hostel, this is a hotel with dorm rooms. Families come here and Czech is the only language that I heard being spoken. Other than that, the rooms are very spacious, as well as the bathrooms. Both are very clean. But don't expect to meet anyone if you're a solo traveler

the hostel is definitely amazing quality! very clean, great quality facilities, spacious and clean bathrooms and right in the center. however, don’t expect a social vibe as there’s none. the staff is barely there, and when I entered to go get my luggage, a woman that works there even seemed confused to why I was there, until the receptionist told her I was a guest. overall very nice and quiet though

Lack of any kitchen facility is quite unfortunate. Staff told me that in the opening hours of the cafe they can heat something up in the microwave/boil water. Beds are nice, though no privacy curtains. Good lockers. No atmosphere at all, the uncozy common area didn't help but nobody wanted to do anything here. People went to sleep at 22:00? If you come with friends it not an issue.

Very clean place in a beautiful historic building with patios and cafes. This is definitely more like a hotel than a hostel, there’s no social atmosphere so maybe not the best for solo travelers. Overall the facilities and restaurant and space were top notch.

Nice place. Nearly hotel quality, more than hostel. Really nice bathroms. Not so social but could be within the summer season and nicer weather.

This is one of the finest hostels I’ve ever stayed at. More comfortable, well maintained/decorated and well appointed than most mid level hotels we stay at. The staff was fantastic, spoke great English (a challenge in a lot of places in this part of the world). Nestled in the Center of a beautiful historic town, one could spend a few days here and not regret it. The restaurant below the hostel is a fine dining experience…not expected and not to be missed.

Very cool place. Close to Old Town and restaurants, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, mellow atmosphere.

This is a hotel more than a hostel. There is absolutely zero social vibe. The only nice thing is how modern and clean the dorms and bathrooms are. Be wary of the bathrooms, I got locked in and had to call reception to get me out. The bathrooms are shared with those who use the restaurant so you can be getting ready for bed when restaurant guests are coming in and out. One night is fine but wouldn’t rush back.

The best hostel that I have been. But the price is more hotel like than hostel.

Super séjour ! J’ai été très bien accueilli. J’étais dans une chambre avec six lits. Elle était propre, très spacieuse, avec un lit confortable et un grand casier. Les douches et les toilettes sont propres ! Bien situé en plus. Je recommande à 100 %

Lovely place clean tidy very good location just super quiet, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing just no life or atmosphere. Felt like it was used a lot for business people staying the night.

An amazingly unique location with terrific facilities. The breakfast was terrific, and it’s located in a really neat location.

Echt een top hostel! Door bedwantsen in een ander hostel moest ik last minute uitwijken en kwam ik in Olomouc terecht bij dit hostel. Erg blij hiermee! Wat een ruimte rust en sfeer maar toch genoeg te zien in de omgeving! Ook leuk en lekker dat er een cafe en restaurant direct aan het hostel zitten verbonden. Echt een top verblijf gehad! Heads-up: het is niet een hostel volledig gericht op backpackers, maar dat maakt het zeker niet minder.

All of the staff was phenomenal, and I interacted with at least 3 members of the front desk staff. The rooms are laid out really well and insanely spacious. The security lockers were huge, which was awesome. The bathrooms were quite fancy and the shower included a rainfall showerhead. I didn't get the morning breakfast but it looked really good. The location was only a short walk from town and right next to a cool outdoor venue that happened to be hosting a summer festival while I was there.

As other reviews say, this is a fantastic hostel. Facilities are great, staff are great, location is great.

A totally 'value for money' hostel as the level of cleanliness, personal space, breakfast offer and general amenities make you feel you are staying at a hotel instead. Stayed over a week due to a conference participation and really enjoyed my time there. Book and you won't regret ❣️

Excellent hostel, well located, easy to reach from the train station and the city center. Great outdoor patio and very comfortable rooms, highly recommend.

The best hostel in Europe! Hands down nothing more to say except have the breakfast its fantastic!!

I wish the shower location was better

Definitely like a hotel and not a hostel. Super clean and organized, well-trained staff, spacious and comfortable beds, best showers of any hostel I’ve ever seen. Zero social atmosphere at all, as the common area is pretty much seating for the restaurant and even if you sit there for five minutes they’ll ask if you want to order something - but if you’re willing to spend time outside the hostel rather than in, this is a hidden gem.

Second stay and still love that place. It's not an hostel to meet people but the room, bathroom, lockers are clean and hugh. The atmosphere is really peacefull, like in all the town. The terrace of the coffee is fantastic to take a break during the day or for a sunny breakfast.

Lovely place! It is clean, tidy, modern and organize. Really. The only "flaw" is the atmosphere: it is closer to being an hotel than an hostel (but it can be also a pros). I'll come back here in the future, definitely!

overall, fantastic hostel. incredibly clean, neat, and comfy. Dorms are large and you get your own space. Best shower ive ever taken in a hostel. lol. delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Short walk to old town. Olomouc is well off the tourist trail so you wont find much of a social atmosphere.
