Aveiro City Lodge

Room was tiny. I was barely able to make it around the bed. Bathroom was likewise. Not like the picture. Only one outlet worked. No staff. Never got breakfast. No soundproofing.

Don’t believe the description. Staff is non existent. All electronic check-in. Kitchen is a refrigerator and a shabby couch. Sketchy intermittent Wi-Fi, “Hot tub “ is empty with debris on the bottom. But, location is great.

Very unpleasant stay. The only person I could find to ask for things that were not right to be put right was angry and aggressive. Don't even know if he worked there. Lots of things were broken. Would never stay again.

Annonce mensongère, les lieux ne ressemblent pas aux photos. Chambre pour trois mais pas la place d’ouvrir le canapé lit. Literie propre mais serviettes à l’odeur épouvantable. Humidité à 110%, moisissures sur les murs, autour des fenêtres, les joints de la salle de bain… douche qui semble avoir été achetée sur Temu. Ne comptez pas sur la terrasse ou le hot tub. Bonne surprise : pas de punaises de lit.

Very humid, Not accurated images, not well cleaned and it's almost necessary to have a engineer degree to turnover on the shower. Not very important but the "jacuzzi" in the photos almost have frogs living In there. Definitely a 1/5

Ok whilst the place was in a great location, it was advertising a roof terrace and hot tub, on speaking to the member of staff we were told it was closed due to a fault. With such hot weather we specifically booked for a place with the ability to cool down. The room was serviced daily which was great and it did have air con and tv an added bonus with kids. Shower needs attention but it worked. Again I think Hostelworld need to check what their properties are advertising and change if needed.

Said there was a spa - this did not exist. No staff, felt a bit unsafe as well with lack of security. It’s a budget hotel, nothing else really to say!

It’s kind of barebones but the truth is that was exactly what we were looking for and it was a great value. Safe and clean and a walkable distance to the train station.

No "Jacuzzi", Rooms not like pictures, No contact with the staff... I DONT RECOMMAND
