Auberge La Source

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön, die Zimmer waren recht groß und sehr ästhetisch eingerichtet, auch die Badezimmer waren sauber, Wasserdruck nur katastrophal. Der Pool war auch schön, nur recht frisch. Essen war sehr gut! Wir haben über die Unterkunft eine Nacht im Wüstencamp gebucht - die war cool und für 50€ sehr fair, das Camp Lag nur nicht wirklich in der Wüste sondern komplett in Sichtweite der Stadt, was sehr schade war. Wasser ging dort auch nicht, sonst war die Erfahrung...

Beautiful location, next to the big dune. Nice private room with good bathroom. Breakfast was good and friendly staff.

Unser Kamelführer war mega nett und die Wüsten-Tour von 50€ über das Hostel zu buchen war auf jeden Fall eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Auch die spontane um Planung war kein Problem und die Hotelzimmer am Pool laden zum längeren Aufenthalt ein :)

Beautiful property right next to the dunes. You can walk straight into the desert from here. Only takes about 10 minutes to be on top of the dunes.

I spent one night here, the location is amazing. The breakfast is huge and the rooms are lovely and clean. However if you are there to socialise then it’s not the place. I really needed some time alone and it was perfect!!

The room was really amazing. Super clean, great bed and spacious! Had an amazing pool and great staff. Had the nicest owner aswell. He helped us out on multiple occasions and even personally drove us to the next towns bus stop early in the morning at the day of our departure. Had an amazing time!

We were there the day before our desert tour, which we booked through the hostel. The hostel has all the conveniences you need. Hajar looked after our well-being at all times. The desert tour with overnight stay in the desert camp was fantastic. The guides took their time and gave us an unforgettable evening. We can highly recommend the hostel.

We had a great time here, even extending our stay after our night in the desert as it was the perfect mid-trip break away from the business of the main cities. It’s outside of Merzouga itself, but hosts are more than happy to offer assistance where they can, even putting on breakfast early for us and driving us to Merzouga on the morning we left. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay , pool was beautiful on the hot days. Not a social hostel as such but was nice for a couple of chill days near the desert

Amazing place right in front of the dunes. Rooms are awesome and clean with good beds and AC. There’s also a wonderful pool with cold water so you can cool down during the hot days. Hassan (the owner) is incredibly nice and helpful. We booked a stay here with nothing planned and he helped us with everything including food, a desert tour in their lovely camp (even though they had no tour planned for the day) and our transportation out of Merzouga. He even drove us to buy beer in the neighboru...

Facilitator treated us so nice and polite,he also organizes desert trip we had unforgettable memories in la source 🙂

if you have a problem in Merzouga, Hassan is the person you want to have close to you. Connections to the main nearby cities are good only in the early morning when all the tourists are leaving. I had a problem for which I needed a hospital visit, and Hassan was able to arrange everything as soon as I asked, from efficient and reliable transports to clinics appointments. He was just great! Thanks again!! Giant dunes are also facing the hostel, which make a gorgeous morning hike.

What a wonderful place to be. We‘ve changed all our travelplans to stay longer. Super clean, felt like 1001nights. The terrace isn’t really special, but gives an amazing view onto the dunes. Even the tagine for dinner was the best we had until arriving to Morocco 🇲🇦 thank you all there!!!

Nos ha encantado el hostel. Es precioso, muy bien ubicado. Lo mejor de todo es la piscina. Y el trato es maravilloso. También hemos realizado un par de tours y todo súper bien. Muy recomendable!!

We had a very lovely stay at this Auberge! The brothers were kind and helpfully. It was clean and they offer a lot of different things to do and to eat. Also the swimming pool is chill! Thanks for everything.

We booked for 1 night and ended up staying around one week! it was just a great time in La Source! Hassan and his family were always making sure we were having the best experience. We went to his camping in the desert and for the sunset and sunrise in the dunes :) We had a delicious dinner, tea and some live music! they teach how to play Moroccan music with the drums! Also we enjoy breakfast every day! As a big plus! our bus arrived 1 hour early and Hassan came to pick us up :D

Great place, arrived on the Supratours bus at 6 am from Fes, owner gave me the key to my room without checking in so i could rest, took a desert tour with them aswell, it was a great tour, all taken care of. Nice clean rooms with A/C, good breakfast, couldn't think of a bad thing to say. Sandboard you can just take and go play with. Cheers!
