Amongst the best hostels I’ve ever stayed; relaxed ambiance not a “party” hostel, which I really liked; anything you need is nearby; ladies who work there are super kind and supportive; highly recommended

Super friendly staff, I was lucky and have the whole room for myself. They close the hostel after 9, which made me feel safe. Very clean and has everything you need (kitchen, water, tea, coffee) plus it’s close to the port. Thank you!

wonderful little hostel full of charm, the staff are amazing and so friendly, i love how they’ve used their home to build this functional space. it’s simple but the value for money is great, a fridge and a kitchen are always welcome. perfect for a quiet nights sleep with a locked front gate from 9pm increasing your sense of security. the only choice in dumaguete in my opinion

Cute little cozy hostel. The staff was super friendly and kind. Close to the port and lots of restaurants. Big dreamy backpackers shower/bathroom. Fridge to put some stuff in and lockers in the dorms. Great price value ratio, definitely recommend:)

Everyone is accommodating and very easy access to nearby food stores. I love the staffs and rooms are well sanitized

Ok hostel, not worth 10 stars though. Very simple beds and the building is old with cracks at the floor. There were also a lot of ants in my room, on the floor but also near the bed… Not very social since I ended up staying alone in my dorm. Okay for one nights but would not recommend to stay longer. The toilets were fine but not very cozy common area. Nice location but not so much to do in the city, not planning to come back

Loved my stay at casa arrieta! Mae, the owner, made me feel so at home and welcomed! The hostel is in a good location and easy to get a cheap tricycle to the center of town. The AC and the shower were perfect and having the kitchenette was nice to make your own food! Highly recommend staying here!

nice place run by nice people.

Stayed here just to sleep. Everything’s good, clean and organized. The staffs were so accommodating too. You can also have your laundry done for 200 pesos. Props to the owner for giving opportunities to PWDs.

We felt very comfortable on our stay! The stuff is super friendly and it was just a nice atmosphere. Although the furniture was a bit old and the floor had cracks. But everything is super clean and I would definitely stay there again :-)!

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt uns wurde sehr weitergeholfen wie man nach APO Island kommt danke nochmal. Wir würden wieder kommen.

The place is clean and well-maintained. The hostel owner, Ms. Mae is very accommodating. She interact and talk with guests. Overall, I had a great stay here!
