Ralph is very helpful and gives tons of good tips. The kitchen they wrote about in the description is gross and you can’t use it. We tried to put groceries in the fridge which we weren’t allowed to, we had to store it in a small fridge made for drinks in the reception. We paid to get our clothes washed/dried, and specifically didn’t want our T-shirts dried but they dried them anyway and now they’ve shrunk.

La chambre est agréable. Le personnel est très sympa et nous aide à programmer nos journées au parc de Zhangjiajie, ils expliquent tout : accès, tarifs, réservations, etc. Et surtout l'auberge est hyper bien situé à deux pas d'une entrée du parc donc très appréciable !

Ralph, the owner, is an absolute legend! He helped me organize two amazing days in the park, and everything was perfectly arranged. With 10 years of experience as a guide, he really knows his stuff and gave me fantastic advice that made the trip unforgettable. I had a private room that was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a great hot shower, exactly what you need after a long day exploring. Highly recommended, if you want to be close to the park and get some good sleep .

Ralph is the greatest host to grace this planet. We could not have done such a dense visit to Zhangjiajie without his expertise and hospitality. We arrived midday with little direction and only the half day and full day the next to fit in as much as possible. As soon as we checked in Ralph helped us make a game plan for our stay on how to best fit in our attractions. Moreover he went above and beyond in his hospitality making sure our tickets were booked as students for a discount.

Super hostel and super Lia! The rooms are pretty and spacious, full of services like WiFi, laundry and they give you all the info useful to book/reach the main spots in the area. Lia is so kind and nice, she speaks English (a big plus for China) and is very welcoming. Super recommended!

the BEST hostel we stayed in China so far! Nice beds and nice rooms, but the best thing was the staff, they explained everything we could do in the national park and offer US discounds in the tickets. 10/10

Great place to stay to go to avatar mountains. Great location short walk to the entrance to the park. Staff were super helpful in giving me information and a route to see all the best spots in the park

The location of this hostel is very convenient for visiting the National Forestpark of Wulingyuan/Zhangjiajie. It is close to the lively village area, market, the park entrance and the only nice terraces in town with sun! Ralph, the owner, and Lia (sightseeing expert), are very helpful whether it is planning your visits to the parks, booking tickets or serving a good coffee! Definitely a good place to stay in Wulingyuan!
