Die Wohngemeinschaft

About a 25 min walk from main station but still pretty straight forward Busy bar under the hostel open till 3am but our room was very quiet(we had a room at the back) The beds although are bunk beds they are the comfiest and biggest(maybe even a small double)I’ve ever slept on in a hostel. the curtains on the bunks kept it darker and more private.light and plug socket on bed Key card locks your storage locker

Was very comfortable and very clean

I had a brilliant stay at Die Wohngemeinschaft - the property was secure, clean and had great facilities. I liked that the beds have curtains so you can rest easily at night. it is a short walk to great Braushaus's and bars and I also met a lot of solo travellers like myself

Pros: - You have a lot of privacy for a hostel. Surely you’ll sleep well! - Lockers are great, and you don’t need to bring your own locker. - Community area is cute, there was free coffee and tea + free ginger shots every morning while I was there! - Linen and towel included in the price. - Helpful staff - Bar downstairs, which is actually a popular spot for students in Cologne apparently. - Nice neighborhood. Cons: - Low water pressure in the showers - Not the most social hostel Still 10/...

Ein überaus positives Erlebnis in der Wohngemeinschaft. Zuvorkommendes Personal und sauberes Hostel. Besonders gefallen hat mir das Wohnzimmer und die Tafel wo aktuelle Veranstaltungen ausgeschrieben sind.

This was my first time ever staying in a hostel and it was ever enjoyable. I was checking in by Margarita on the first night and she was very helpful and kind. The room was nice and bed comfy, pillow could do with replacing, was more case than padding and the bar was also really nice with a warm atmosphere. Only down side what the showers, nice and clean but no water pressure, felt more like being rained on. But would definitely stay again, great value for money

Maybe the best hostel I've been to! Incredible spacious, private and ready-made beds. Modern and clean, and there are many fun events in the attached bar and theatre. Common kitchen with free stuff available too. Great location right in the alternative Belgian Quarter.

10 out of 10. Trust me. I've been staying in 50+ hostels. This one is one of my favorites in Europe.

Absolutely great, would definitely come back. Huge beds, lovely decoration and attention to details, top notch cleanliness, nice staff, bar and amenities. Free tea & coffee. The only reason it does not get a full 10 is the location

I always love when a place provides a towel. The room was clean, cozy, and creative. The themed rooms were cool

The place is nice. Very easy to check in and bottom cafe and bar is really lively. Only stayed one night so not very eventful but looks like a great place to hang and meet people. Beds are super spacious and the lockers are big enough for my 38L backpack. Bring a towel or figure that out when you check in bc I couldn’t find one on my bed.

The themed room was cute, the bed was big, and even though it was a shared dorm I felt like I had privacy.

Very nice place. Not very social at all. Like not even a little bit. I think this one is more worth it if you do a private room (they are quirky and fun). There isn’t a kitchen? But there is…. it’s just always locked.

De locatie is perfect. Het hostel ligt achter het Steigenberger Hotel in een levendig gedeelte van Köln. De ruimtes zijn zeer schoon. De bedden zijn groot ( 1,40 m breed ). Je hebt genoeg ruimte en privacy in de capsule. Er zijn ook geen schreuwende kinderen of schoolklassen. Mijn kamer was op de 6e etage waardoor er geen straatgeluiden hoorbaar waren. Het raam kon probleemloos geopend worden.

Honestly one of the best hostels I ever stayed in: super friendly staff, nice big beds, modern + clean facilities, free coffee / tea / ginger shots, central location in the belgian quarter. Absolute recommend!

Perfect. A bit far away, but ok !

Excelente ubicación, fácil de llegar, a 5 minutos a pie donde puedes tomar el tranvía y explorar la ciudad. Las habitaciones con un toque temático, muy limpio todo.
