Bad experience overall

Die Mitarbeiter waren ab Minute eins übergriffig und haben sich darüber hinaus nicht an versprechen gehalten. 3/5 Badezimmern haben nicht funktioniert und die Sauberkeit generell war eher mäßig. Man kann schon Leute treffen aber jeder ist lieber für sich.

Por favor no vayan a este hostal, en las fotos es mucho mejor, por dentro es muy sucio y la verdad no me gustó nada. No cometan el mismo error que yo.

Location is terrible for multiple reasons. It's not just far away from the centre it's just a house in a suburb. Everything around there is very ugly and it smells in the streets. There were 8 (!) people in sleeping in my tiny room like sardines. The staff doesn't have their own rooms so they just sleep with the guests. In total there are 31 people cramped in the house and there are nowhere near enough common spaces for to house everyone. Indifferent staff. Dreadful place. Avoid at all cost...

Too many flaws for me to stay there again. No inside common area, everyone always cramped in that small kitchen space and I did not feel like I could go anywhere to read a book beside my bed at night. Wish they had a female dorm. My room was also way too small for 4 people. I felt cramped inside everywhere. So many flies that no one does anything about. I left two days early. I loved the location and views. Would definitely stay in this area again.

Wanted to have a social experience in our 2 weeks, but unfortunately decided to leave after the first night (4 nights booked). The flat was quite noisy (1 bathroom for 10 ppl who not really respected quiet time / cooked after 11 pm). Aircraft traffic was super loud - should be mentioned in the description (doesn‘t help when the owner says „that he doesn‘t her the air traffic anymore“). Unfortunately the bathrooms were dirty and there were a lot of flys in the rooms.

I would not stay in this hostel again. It was a 30 minute walk from the closest shops. It was close to the beach but you can’t swim there because it’s way too windy. Also, I was a woman in a mixed dorm and did not feel comfortable. There was one guy (who I think worked/lived at the hostel) would turn the light on in the middle of the night. He also made some weird sounds in his bed which made me uncomfortable. The window was left open where people would smoke outside of so it came inside.

There’s no clear staff, it felt like the staff were all just there to be social. Space wasn’t very clean, under the bed was actually quite gross. Quiet time was meant to be 11pm but it was really loud until all hours. Not the fault of the hostel exactly, but I barely slept the entire four nights due to excessive snoring. I am used to people snoring in hostels, but this was more than I’ve ever experienced. You could hear the one guy from the sitting room outside and the staff did nothing ab...

Pasamos una noche fatal, una persona ronco toda la noche sin parar, el olor no era nou agradable y las camas poco cómodas.

Sehr schön direkt am Meer in einer ruhigeren Ecke gelegen. Es fährt ein Bus bis kurz vorm Hostel, allerdings nicht besonders häufig, bis El Médano sind es ca 30 Min zu Fuß. Hatte ein Einzelzimmer, war sehr bequem und uch denke, dass es duech die Zimmerlage im Untergeschoss (mit Fenstern) länger kühl bleibt. Das Hostel liegt etwas n der Flugschneise, fand ich aber kaum störend

Wonderful guest house in a wonderful position. The staff is very kind, the beds are very comfortable.

Das Aloe Vera Shared House war mit anstand das beste Hostel (Preis-Leistung) bei meinem einwöchigen Aufenthalt in Teneriffa. Alles wird sehr sauber gehalten, die Betten werden regelmäßig mit heißem Wasserdampf gereinigt (also garantiert bettwanzenfrei) und insgesamt ist das Personal sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Das Team besteht aus Volunteers, die dort sehr humane Arbeitszeiten haben und dementsprechend gut drauf sind, sodass man sich entspannt na den Örtlichkeiten erkundigen kann.

Perfect and has a beach nearby. Its just that if you need public transport, you need to walk for 20-25 min

Great Hostel! I felt so save, everything was clean and the price is also fine. The staff was nice and helpful. The atmosphere felt like you stay with a group of good old friends. After all the location is great too, you have a beautiful view over the sea, a shop near by and it is a quiet area.

Personnelles agréable et établissement propres. Juste beaucoup de vent et peu de bus. Merci c'était un moment agréable, )

Really loved it here. You basically share a luxurious villa at the beach with people. Please note that it’s a 30 min walk from El Medano. Only downside is that there are a lot of flies in the house.

Had a great time, big thanks to all the staff members who made me feel at home. I gotta say though, you guys should invest in a vacuum cleaner for the sand situation! Watching the volounteers trying to scoop it up with a broom everyday was heartbreaking 😂

I loved my stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I had a nice chilled evening in with other people staying at the hostel. My only negative was that the room was SO hot and pretty uncomfortable due to this. I did like that the beds had individual curtains and the bathrooms felt clean.

I loved my stay at Aloe Vera Shared House. I’m already looking forward to coming back in the future. The location was beautiful, the beach in sight in a super calm area. In the hostel I felt at home immediately. Everything was as it should be, plus the staff was super welcoming and friendly. I loved the atmosphere and I was super happy overall. Thank you !
