The 10 man dorm is horrible and cramped and dirty, unbearably loud music. Over $20 for a tiny cramped dorm, complete rip off. They take a $20 cash deposit?! It seems like all they care about is money, but not about customer service or basic cleanliness. And there was no one around to give back our deposit in the morning despite being told there would be. Dorms are overcrowded, toilet leaked constantly, flooding the bathroom, you had to walk through toilet leakage to shower & staff ignored it. The room was filthy on arrival, with old cans, food waste, and thick dust left sitting for ages. Multiple guests reported theft including large sums of money, all of my shoes were taken and later found in cleaners area, not lost property which sadly feels suspicious. The worst value for money hostel I’ve stayed in. The non-capsule room was tiny, no curtains and a 3 level bed (which is crazy in itself), the staff was only young volunteers that didn’t know how to do basic things, there was no water for 2 days on and off (at one time there was no water for 24 hours straight), I payed for an extra night when I came then 2 days later was told that they did a mistake and that it was fully booked, and in the end they did have space.. be ware of this place..

Perhaps after seeing hostels in Europe I was bound to be disappointed. For $28 a night, it was quite pricey for a bunk bed out of 10 with no windows and shared bathroom and no breakfast. Pricing aside, I felt the staff were cold and uninviting, no activities as advertised despite joining the WhatsApp group and the whole vibe was cliquey and exclusionary. The area is very nice and I would recommend a visit it just stay elsewhere.

The most uninterested girls ever run the hostel. They just want to take your money and don’t care about you at all. Couldn’t check in for an hour because they were not working but drinking at the sunset, and when I was finally able to check in they didn’t help at all and just want your money. I wanted to book 1 more night and they just wanted me to leave for 0 reason so they had less work to do.

The hostel is well located, close to the beach and shops, but the price is too high for what it offers. Only one toilet and shower for 10 people, and the place already looks old and dirty. Beds are comfortable, but security is concerning — someone grabbed my leg at night asking why I was in my own bed.

I don’t understand the good reviews of this hostel. The shared rooms for 6 people are a completely mess with two x3 bunk beds in a very small area The water was gone for 12 hours so I couldn’t even brush my teeth and the toilet was disgusting until next day Constructions inside the area still ongoing Messy volunteers organization No one respects the silence time Kitchen completely dirty Much better options close by with even cheaper prices (Libertad or Sunzal)

Overall I had a decent stay, but there are some clear areas that need improvement. The gate was left open all night and the sliding door to the dorm doesn’t lock, which didn’t make the place feel very secure. The volunteers also didn’t seem very engaged with guests or interested in creating a social atmosphere. It was great! It has a warm and very welcoming vibe. Ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in El Tunco. They have everyday activities including the Sync or Swim party every wednesday which was an incredible experience for me. Would totally recommend and will definitely come back for more!

The best place to make international networking, have party and rest at the same time. The hostel schedule activities everyday of all kinds, from yoga, ice bath, cliff DJ set, drinking games, and has a beautiful and peaceful design next to the beach and Tunco entry.

Best hostel in El Tunco, easily.

Amazing! Could have stayed there for one month! A very lovely and happy atmosphere! Great spirit!

I came on a Saturday night to Dos Palmos and was instantly apart of beautifully wild time. The location is conveniently placed with a small walk to everywhere you’d need to be by the beach. Staff and ownership are full of smiles and kindness and I felt my items were safe and respected. Would definitely come back and recommend this spot to anyone wanting a fun time in El Salvador. Although a famous party Hostel, quiet hours were respected past 11 and I was able to get good rest every night.

The heart of El Tunco

Great and social place to stay!

Really nice hostel with the loveliest staff. Had everything we needed. Ella was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, thank you:)

I had a great time at the hostel, the structure was great, the place is clean, the location amazing. The only problem was when the whole hostel ran out of water, but it was solved fast. The volunteers were really nice, specially Amilcar, who was always nice and helpful

An okay hostel overall, but the private room bathroom left a lot to be desired. I never felt clean after showering. The atmosphere was lacking too, with the pool area silent all day and only one brief 10-minute game one night to get people chatting. Good location, but the pool was very dirty. Check-in was poor, with an uninterested volunteer, and no one replied on WhatsApp when I messaged to say we might be 30 minutes late, which could easily have left us stranded. Free coffee is nice.

Les lits sont bien. Les échelles devraient être fixés; elles font beaucoup de bruit. C’est un hôtel de party et quand tu te réveilles à 7h, tu le constates em voyant des déchets traîner partout!

The capsule was nice. But in general a party hostel. The quiet hours were from 23pm-7am, and not even then it was really quiet. They startet playing really loud music around 8. They did a check in at 23:30 in a really loud way that woke everyone up. Pool is nice though and the bed comfortable.
