+ A 3 minutes a pieds de la plage et des commerces, pizzeria a côté super bonne, salles de bain et cuisine propres et bien équipées, moustiquaire aux lits, café prêt le matin

- Clarté des explications sur les excursions et autre, on a du ajouter des suppléments a chaque fois car les prix annoncés n'étaient pas corrects ou leur "all in" était faux. Non conciliant après leur en avoir fait part. Stress inutile pour le trajet du retour : demande de réserver un taxi le matin et tjs pas commandé a 21h le soir pr un depart a 6h le lendemain. Petite info en plus : alaise en plastique sur le lit et les oreillers. Prévoir un cadenas pr fermer sa chambre a clef car non fournie.

+ The Hostel is nice to meet new people and the building is clean.

- The staff don't really care about their guests. Be it cancelling tours without letting people know, not ordering taxis and telling them it'll be impossible to find one (despite it not being the case). The only time they were nice was when asking for the money and checkout. The number of fans in rooms is also ridiculously low, making sleeping pretty hard.

+ The Owner/Staff is helpful and gave advice about Trecks in the area and about transport

- Cockroaches in the kitchen, never felt clean while staying here. The mattress is some kind of plastic thing, not really comfortable. There are no lockers (could only give your valuables to the owner for safekeeping)

+ The couple running it were very helpful giving recommendations and guidance. They always advise the cheapest and best option around according to your needs.

- The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. The guy offered to change it for a different one but it was smaller so I declined.

+ Esta cerca de la playa tiene cocina y hamacas para descanzar en general es un buen lugar por el precio la gente local me pareció amable y no me pareció peligroso como si lo es el lado caribe del chocó. tiene internet satelital

- Da mucha tristeza que toda la playa es un basurero y no viene de afuera es basura colombiana. hay que concientizar a las comunidades del pacifico que dejen de tirar la basura al mar. se ve que en el pueblo hay buen dinero hay mucho turismo pero se nota mucho la corrupción politica y el abandono las calles son un pantanero no tienen agua potable o un buen acueducto y eso termina afectando al turista, es casi imposible que usted no regrese enfermo, yo dure mas tiempo recuperandome que los 6 dias que estuve alla. Es recomendable hervir el agua para no enfermar porque el filtro no es suficiente y usar agua embotellada empeora el problema de contaminación porque va a terminar en la playa.

+ Une auberge plutôt agréable, proche de la plage et à la sortie du village, avec une belle terrasse. Les hôtes sont sympas et à l'écoute, notamment dans l'organisation de tours. Santiago parle anglais, ce qui facilite la compréhension. La cuisine est fonctionnelle et la chambre plutôt agréable.

- Quelques petits désagréments toutefois : une seule salle de bain sur deux fonctionnait pour toute l'auberge . Attention, contrairement à l'annonce Booking, les serviettes de toilette sont en supplément et il n'y a pas de petit-déjeuner, petite déception là-dessus.

+ We stayed at Casa Hostal Amar-illa for two nights and it was simple but met our basic needs during our time in El Valle to see the humpback whales. We had a private room which mainly consisted of a mosquito net and contained a fan. There was a shared kitchen with plastic bins where you could put your food to prevent ants. We also enjoyed the rooftop which had hammocks and yoga mats. Angelica, one of the hosts, was also super helpful in organizing tours and ferry rides.

- Unfortunately there was a large group of other travelers who were quite loud and made noise until 4AM. Perhaps a curfew can be imposed at the property.

+ Lieu très agréable et bien situé ! Proche du village et de l'océan ! Le personnel est très sympa. Les lits sont confortables et équipés de moustiquaires ! Si vous désirez louer des planches de surf je vous conseil de les louer à cet hôtel (elles sont en très bonne état comparé au bar de la plage)

+ La casa es muy bonita y está en una ubicación perfecta cerca de restaurantes y pizzerias y alejada de ruidos. Los chicos que la gestionan son muy amables y buena onda y siempre están cerca y disponibles para lo que necesites.

- Casi nunca funcionaba el agua en uno de los dos baños. Nuestra habitación doble era demasiado pequeña, hubiéramos agradecido tener al menos percheros en las paredes y el ventilador de pared ya que ocupaba el poco hueco que había en el suelo.

+ On s’y sent tout de suite très bien. L’auberge est jolie, pleine de couleurs, et parfaitement propre. La cuisine est bien équipée, et le petit-déjeuner d’Angelica est vraiment excellent. La terrasse est un vrai plus : on peut s’y détendre dans plusieurs hamacs, dans une ambiance très agréable. L’auberge propose également un listing d’activités, et les hôtes sont disponibles et attentifs en cas de besoin.

- La chambre classique a deux est très petite. Il y a peu d'espace pour poser ses affaires. Celle un peu plus chère est bien plus grande.

+ Wspaniałe miejsce! Pokój w hostelu ładny i czysty z moskitierą i wiatrakiem. Dostęp do kilku wspólnych łazienek. Plaża jest 3 minuty od hostelu, w pobliżu dobra restauracja. W hostelu można było zarezerwować sobie super wycieczki. Personel był bardzo pomocny i łatwo było dogadać się po angielsku. Bardzo polecamy! ☺️

+ Just a really nice chill place. Great upstairs terrace to hang out and chill in the hammock. Very close to the beach, has a kitchen you can use and everyone is very friendly.

+ Lo mejor de este sitio ha sido la atención de Angélica y Santiago, quienes nos recomendaron y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos. Buscaron la forma de gestionarnos las salidas que nos interesaron, lugares donde comer, salir, etc., siempre con mucho acierto, y estuvieron disponibles para cualquier cosa todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí (e incluso antes de llegar! ). El alojamiento se encuentra ubicado en una zona muy tranquila y cerca de la playa y del pueblo, y la terraza superior es un perfecto lugar de descanso donde disfrutar del sonido de la lluvia o el canto de los pájaros desde la hamaca.

+ On pensait rester quelques jours, on est partis plus d'une semaine plus tard ! Ici on a tout trouvé pour passer le meilleur séjour possible : une chambre confortable, la plage à 3 minutes à pieds, des commerces locaux tout aussi proches, une nature époustouflante et surtout des hôtes incroyables. Merci Angelica, Santiago et Cristian 🧡 on vous enverra tous les copains qui passent dans le coin !

+ We loved this place!! Only a 30 second walk from a beautiful beach (el Almejal) , you can see the sea from the terrace, you can hear the waves when you sleep. The kitchen is really well equipped, we cooked lots of fish that we bought from the fishermen in the village !! Angelica and Santiago are lovely hosts, very attentive and caring. The house is sooo charming, you feel right at home. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to the Pacific and we would love to come back :) Best option in the area, very central for any activities or to get to any other tourist spots in this area.

+ We enjoyed our stay in Amar-illa a lot! It’s super close to the beach and to the village. There is a nice garden around which makes it a quiet and pleasant place to relax. The kitchen is well equipped and nice to cook in. We also got a lot of help in organising trips to the jungle and to snorkel beaches. If you’re visiting El Valle it’s just a perfect place to stay.
