Loosha Hostel

Convenient location. Showers were super hot and humid, was drenched in sweat by the time I left.

I wish I could give it a better rating however I was never able to check in to the hostel. I arrived after hours but still within the time frame of after hours checkin. However the staff never responded to my calls or emails and messaging wasn’t working. Because of that I couldn’t get my room and had no place to sleep after traveling straight for 1.5 days already. I know these things happen and people make a mistakes so I don’t want to be too upset but it was a bit frustrating.

This hostel is really anonymous and just functional

Decent place to stay for a few nights. Very secure. No atmosphere but it’s close to the main station in Taichung. Lots of showers and toilets which are kept pretty clean. Free breakfast in the morning is nice. Staff are not the friendliest

Clean ans secure rooms with a nice sleeping area. The bed has a curtain, universal socket, usb slots, fold out table, light and a couple of clothes hangers. The room had Air-con and lockers for each bed in the dorm. The hostel didn't seem to have too many people staying so it was a particularly lively place but in the communal area was a table football and hang out areas. There was also kitchen facilities if you wanted to bring in your own food. The bathrooms were clean but not en-suite

This place has a lot of potential. It’s right next to the train station and is walking distance to most things in the main city of Taichung. I’ll admit the atmosphere was pretty dead but it has the potential to be a good spot for it.

A good hostel and not a bad choice by any means. Really no social aspect at all when I was there, but that was technically winter. Close to the train station, which can be nice based on how you look at it

Well laid out, clean and has good staff. The atmosphere was not great, with few English speakers and most people choosing to just sit by themselves and play on their phones. It's really close to the Metro Station but I wasn't impressed with Taichung as a place to stay.

Nice Hostel really close to the airport and bus station. You have everything u need there. The vibe when i was staying there wasnt to social.

Wow one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. Breakfast was 10/10. Staff was so friendly and I had such a warm welcome.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Conveniently located close to Taichung train station. Delicious vegetarian breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Note that water pressure to the showers isn't great, and it is quite far from the common room to the bedrooms.

What a great hostel! Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, great location, very secure. Huge common area, decent sized dorms and loads of showers and toilets. Also a great free breakfast and free tea/coffee. This hostel was fab and I'd happily stay here again.

highly recommend. Staff were super friendly, great location, great beds. the only place I've ever stayed where you can choose the height of your pillows

This hostel is so good. The beds are comfy and private, the place is clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful! The location and security is good. The breakfast was delicious. I have nothing but good things to say!

Great location to get around, really helpful and friendly staff! The hostel was a bit quiet when i was there so i didn’t meet many people. The room was clean and a comfortable bed

Breakfast included. Room isolation a bit poor (noisy street), but with earplugs no problem. Showers and toilets are clean. Staff is exceptional! Really awesome people. Helped out a lot with activity recommendations and helping out with chinese website navigation etc.. The staff deserves a raise! Really felt at home and they were always open to have a genuine chat :) would definetly recommend this hostel to anyone. Very close to the main station.

Très ton établissement que je recommande. Seul point négatif est le prix, 36€ la nuit me paraît élevé pour une auberge

Great place and friendly staff. The location is next to the station but it;s so loud with all of the main roads. Even with earplugs it's only really quiet between 2300 - 0500 due to the traffic. I didn't realise if there were any social events, but the common area was a bit dead. 3 Stars might be a bit harsh, but over almost 3 days I never saw more than a couple of people. There is a big TV there - could at least put some movies on.
