Nous avons eu des problèmes avec cet établissement. Nous sommes seulement restées quelques heures et sommes parties. Sécurité, personnel, propreté… tout était horrible. Leur service et compréhension envers la situation qu’on vivait était terrible.

premièrement aucun stationnement si vous êtes en dortoir. Le dortoir de filles est propre. La pire cuisine de tous les hostels que j'ai fait. Four brisé, au gaz, ne fournisse pas le lighter. Fourmis en tout temps. Personnel mêlé et peu aidant. crotte de souris sur la terasse. aucun evenement rassembleur

We verbleven met twee mensen in een privé kamer, de eerste nacht moesten we 30 muggen doodslaan voor dat we een soort van oké konden slapen. De kamer stonk en overal beesten. De AC deed het soms niet. Het personeel zat echt in hun eigen bubbel, het hostel zelf was ook totaal niet sociaal en er gebeurde nooit wat. Voor de rest was de douche onwijs goor en deed het soms ook niet. Er was niet echt een receptie en alles was chaotisch. Het voelde totaal niet georganiseerd. Gekke boel.

I arrived on a Saturday Morning and the hostel was pretty empty. Check in was easy and I didn’t have to wait until 3. The bed was dirty with dead ants and the towel I was given was stained. The room had air con but was dark and felt unclean. Not a person in sight for most of the day, so I wouldn’t go if you want social. Bathroom was dirty and no hot water so I had to leave after a few hours. Fine if you just need a place to crash but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.

Dreckige Toiletten und Waschbecken, die offenbar seit Wochen nicht geputzt wurden – Uringeruch inklusive. Trotz Beschwerde wurde nicht gereinigt. Käfer im Zimmer, verschimmelte Küchengeräte, Fruchtfliegen überall, nachts wurde unser Essen geklaut. Tür ließ sich nicht richtig abschließen, das Hostel war null social und das Personal wirkte aufgesetzt freundlich. Für uns: nie wieder.

Would not recommend if you want a fun stay. It was dirty. There were dead beetles in the showers for 3 days. On the website it said there was a place to park your car, there was not. Staff was also very rude about this. When you stay in the womans hostel, you can’t socialize with people from the other building. They will send you away. No fun activities.

Wouldn't recommend Saltys to anyone. Stayed in the female "6 bed" dorm, which is actually 8. Cockroaches and bat in the dorm. Bathroom unclean. Kitchen area not adequately equipped to share between 6+ people. No atmosphere or sense of community - most people are working and go to bed early. Top bunks are too hot to lay in during the day. Owner agreed to refund one night because we left early, but has been messing us around over Whatsapp saying there were "powercuts" - over a week and no refund.

This hostel was a huge letdown. The staff were rude and unhelpful, the room smelt of mould, and cleanliness was clearly not a priority. The worst part? Waking up to a cockroach crawling across my back in bed—absolutely disgusting. Also zero social atmosphere and hard to meet people. I don’t expect luxury, but basic hygiene and decent service should be standard. Avoid this place if you value cleanliness and a good night’s sleep.

Cleanliness and professionalism were major issues. I saw cockroaches in both the kitchen and my room. A staff member in our female dorm left unfinished food around her bed for at least five days. When I raised the concern, the owner dismissed it and wrongly claimed I had left food in the sink. I was moved to a new room for the last five days, where I shared a dorm with a staff member bedridden with the flu. With at least 30 people in the hostel and only one cleaner, sanitary conditions were poor...

Nunca he tenido una experiencia como esta en un Hostel. Hay tantas cosas mal que es difícil iniciar. Desde haber sido picada desde la primera noche por acaros en todas la piernas, lo que hizo mis noches una pesadilla. Hasta el lavabo de la cocina que durante la semana que estuve ahi nunca sirvió, lo que se convirtió en una cocina que no funcionaba y con muy mal olor. Very nice hostel. You get big beds, a nice bathroom and a pretty vibe overall.

One of my favourite dorms I’ve stayed in. Double bed and the room was massive? So spacious and clean and tidy and a little separate cooking area just outside the room? Lovely. Only thing was lack of ‘comfy common area’ to chill but double bed makes up for it

Das Hostel war in Ordnung. Die Lage ist recht Strandnah. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und groß. Das Bett war verhältnismäßig groß und bequem. Zum Kontakte knüpfen ehr schwieriger. Die Sauberkeit ist ehr naja. Das Bad wurde gefühlt gar nicht gereinigt. Die Küche ist einigermaßen ausgestattet. Es gibt auch nur kalte Duschen und kein warmes Wasser. Beim bezahlen ist es super, passend Bargeld dabei zuhaben. Es gab selten Wechselgeld, was man sich später zurückholen konnt...

The property was nice. Everything is clean for the most part. My only thing is there is no hot water and the power went out twice during my stay meaning no AC no Wi-Fi no running water

Danke für die tolle Zeit. Total liebevolles geführtes und nahbares Hostel. Der Besitzer war viel vor Ort und hat ganz viel Begeisterung fürs Hostel ausgestrahlt und einen Wunsch es weiter zu verschönern und zu einer besonderen Wohlfühloase zu gestalten. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Das Hostel hätte eigentlich super viel Potenzial, tolle helle Zimmer. Schöne Aufenthaltsräume. Leider mangelt es an der Sauberkeit, der Müll in der Küche wurde tagelang nicht geleert, was bei den Temperaturen nicht zumutbar ist. Auch das Bad wurde nie richtig gereinigt. Der Kühlschrank war sauber, es gibt Boxen um sein Essen zu verstauen.

Great location, owners, activities and vibes in general! Would recommend to anyone! Our only negative remark was the lack of warm water in our dorm.

Highly recommend. Uki, Tule and their team were great. Helped us find good places to see, surf rental hookups and were always there to help when needed. Locked gate and noise barriers from the road made for a good sleep. Property was cleaned every day.

I loved my stay! It was so centrally located and safe, I stayed in a 8 person female dorm it was full all the nights I was there which made it for a fun experience & easy to make friends, also everyone was super respectful. Only thing that was a bummer was the last two nights plumbing stopped working in our dorm so we had to use the outdoor toilets, not the end of the world but it's nice to use the toilet inside when you have to tinkle at night lol. Pura Vida! I would stay again!

Really nice hostel and good price. Stayed in the female dorm. The room was big and with one double bed per person. They cleaned the room and kitchen every day. Kitchen was good and had everything you need and nice equipment. Super cozy and chill vibe, would recommend!

Absolut empfehlenswert!! Die Mitarbeiter hier sind alle super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren in dem großen female dorm und fanden es sehr schön. Jeder hatte ein eigenes großes Bett mit Vorhängen und trotz Klimeanlage Ventilatoren an jedem Bett war super! Eigene Küche war sehr krass. Leider ist uns aufgefallen, dass wir ein 6er Zimmer gebucht haben und es 8 Betten waren. Das war aber nicht soo schlimm, da der Raum echt groß ist. Eine Fledermaus und Kakalaken im Bad haben uns jeden Tag begl...

Stayed in the women’s house, LOVED IT. Free access to yoga equipment, spacious and calm. Always clean, great staff that are very resourceful. You can ask any questions to get around, best spots, cheap places,etc.

Great hostel ran by sweet people. It's homie and it's social. It's down to earth. Also cheaper than a meal at a lot of spots along the street. Not super modern but those hostels are full of lame ppl. Vibe is on point here. Good location. Hot showers and AC! I got a private room for $27 usd on I think on a day of discount not sure. Bunks were $10 cheaper. My good friend Big Dan / Dan the man recommend it. Wish I stayed longer. Haven't been inside but hear the woman's dorm is nice.
