1322 Backpackers International

Nice hostel and staff, next to the student party places so a good location to go out. The rooms can get a little cold if you are staying there when it isn’t warm outside though.

I enjoyed my stay at 1322 Backpackers and will be returning for my next semester. The location is great, close to my varsity and shops (to buy food) The room was nice, very green and leafy gardens and great self service kitchens. I liked the quiet and general atmosphere. Thank you for a nice stay!

I used to stay here all the time before Covid. This is my first visit after Covid and the transformation of the facility is remarkable! Marcel really renovated the space. Mattresses in the dorm room I stayed in very comfortable. A new pool table for people to spend their time, i loved 1322 Backpackers before but am absolutely in love with it now. Won’t stay anywhere else in Pretoria!

Had the best time here! I felt welcomed from the get go and got the best advice and assistance planning my days here and the follow up travel.

No atmosphere there were no backpackers at all

Good Folks, great place. Unfortunately like much of South Africa plagued by load shedding but not the owner or staff at fault.
