Arena Hostel

Just an FYI, this hostel is ~4km outside the town. There’s no motorbike rental anywhere in el paredon, the best you can do is a bicycle which are overpriced anyway. Tuktuks stop at 9pm. If you want to stay late in el paredon and party, this isn’t your place. I had to hitchhike home all 3 nights and it was not ideal (one weird sexual guy). The place is nice but the location was a killer for me.

El lugar espectacular, muy tranquilo, pero lo mejor de todo sin duda fue la calida recepcion de Javier y el resto del equipo. Super recomendado.

Waaaay to far from the main area in el paredon Don’t book as a solo traveler

The host (Christian) is the most service-minded and best host we’ve experienced on our travels. He did everything he could and was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place for resting and relaxing. Not a party hostel.

I loved this place so much that I extended my stay and in addition came back a couple of weeks later. it's outside of el paredon (10min. by tuktuk) and very calm and peaceful. the beach is a 4min. walk away and so is the restaurant of the playa 14. the hostel itself has diverse common areas and a well equipped kitchen, just make sure to buy groceries beforehand.the little dorm huts are cute, the beds comfortable and the rooms are well cooled down by ac. this place feels like paradise 🌴
