Tiki Taka Hostel & Pub

I arrived a bit late into the night, so I had a pleasant E-mail exchange with the owner to pay my balance and get the self check-in info. However, when I arrived, the fact that neither the back door nor the dorm door were locked, and that I had no key to open them if they became locked, did not make me feel safe. The dorm itself seemed clean, even if the bedsheets & towel provided were old and used. The toilets/shower was not clean, and there was not really a common area or kitchen.

Le propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeant. Il gère le bar et l'auberge du mieux qu'il peut. Je n'ai pas reçu son 1er mail lors de mon arrivée à 22h. J'ai donc du prendre une autre chambre d'hôtel pour la nuit. Mais accueil parfait le lendemain matin. La partie auberge est très propre selon l'autodiscipline de chacun. Il n'y a pas de cuisine mais un coin pour se poser pour manger avec frigo, micro-ondes, grille pain, assiettes et couverts.

Not the best, decided not to shower because of the cleanliness of the place, didn't see the bar open for my whole stay, and if the bar wasn't open you needed to walk around the dark corner to get inside, the lockers weren't great, the atmosphere and other people in the hostel didn't seem too friendly and I didn't feel too safe (but that's not the hostel fault I guess), the host was nice and responded to texts and calls, but it doesn't really make up for the structure. Wouldn't recommend.

The location is okay, but that's probably all. The inside door handle was missing in my room, so the door couldn't be closed at night. The common area is an interior hallway, which makes it rather uncomfortable. Old food is piled up in the refrigerator, and overall the refrigerator seems very unhygienic. There was also no way to lock my valuables in a closet in my room. The entrance is via a backyard, which is not particularly well lit at night. It is definitely a clean hostel and also inexpens...

Hard to find, Apple Maps and Google maps take you to the back parking lot of the building, but it is located on the street side on the far left corner. Staff was very friendly and informative, vibes were ok, locations is a little far from center but solid price and public transit is easy to navigate, if you use Google maps.
