ESN Oktoberfest Campsite

We were told in the booking page we would get 5 person tents but instead got 2 person tents that were not exactly the best. The bathrooms are disgusting and some broken. Breakfast is hardly a proper breakfast. The information was definitely misleading in the booking page.

De website is misleidend, ik heb tenten voor 4 personen geboekt en kreeg bij aankomst de gratis „upgrade“ naar een twee persoons hol. Naast de tenten, beschikt de camping ook niet over wifi. Tenzij je tegen het hutje bij de ingang gaat staan. In het „restaurant“ durven ze je voor 8 euro een piccolini te serveren. Niet naartoe gaan.

I booked a four person tent but was told when I got there that they had no four people tents at ESN. Weirdly when I looked on the website later, there were still four person tents available to book. It was very expensive for what it was and people talked loudly all night so pretty impossible to sleep. I don't think I'd be back again or recommend it to anyone else.

Every morning the generator was not working so we could not charge our phones. The air mattress pads would deflate over night. Over priced for what you get.

Hot showers, bar at night. Check in was disorganized, diff campsites had diff check ins but was not discussed. Some sites had wristbands others didn’t. Everything was in one area. The tent sixes were changed without acknowledgment, it seemed very disorganized. Don’t recommend for the price.

freezing at night. hot showers which was nice. it rained so some tents completely flooded and to reach my tent i was ankle deep in water. soooo expensive for a tent but its oktoberfest so they can overcharge i guess. the staff were super super nice tho!

Overall, a solid campsite. If it's raining, expect lots of puddles on the ground. Pack more warm clothes than you think you'll need; it got COLD. Also, expect the "party" to go on until 3am or later. Bring noise cancelling headphones or a Red Bull, whatever you prefer. Fairly close to a train station, so that's nice. The dinner food was mid, the breakfast was fine. Staff was super friendly. No electricity in the mornings either day, so I had a dead phone at the 'fest. Amenities were nice.

A great place to stay on a budget. The campsite was very cozy besides some campers who were unapologetically and unnecessarily loud in the mornings, all Oktoberfest shenanigans aside. The bar in the campground was a great place to be, and I would highly recommend a stay here, though it is a little far from Munich center/Oktoberfest.

Overall, a solid campsite. If it's raining, expect lots of puddles on the ground. Pack more warm clothes than you think you'll need; it got COLD. Also, expect the "party" to go on until 3am or later. Bring noise cancelling headphones or a Red Bull, whatever you prefer. Fairly close to a train station, so that's nice. The dinner food was mid, the breakfast was fine. Staff was super friendly. Nice place to stay to part hard

Great campsite for your stay during the Oktoberfest. The place is near a metro station and the staff is really friendly and helpful. There is also a shop and a bar/restaurant to keep partying after the Oktoberfest. I would recommend and probably go there again next year!

Awesome time, staff were fantastic. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to experience a good time at Oktoberfest for good value. Toilets and showers were very good too!
