À fuir absolument ! Le propriétaire, en pyjama à 9h, vous culpabilise pour l'heure d'arrivée. La chambre est sale, avec des draps pleins de poussière, cailloux et poils, une salle de bain défectueuse et sans papier toilette. Le paiement (en espèces uniquement) ne correspondait pas au prix convenu, et il est devenu agressif lorsqu'on a demandé la monnaie qu'il nous devait. Alcoolisé, il a crié et insisté sur le fait que les Européens devaient payer plus.

Horrible hostal, ni siquiera referenciado en Google Maps. No hay agua caliente, flujo mínimo, cucarachas que suben por las tuberías. Cocina inutilizable y Muy sucia. No desayuno. Muy lejo del centro. No sé si al final no prefiero las cucarachas al gerente que grita todo el día y que no asume el precio a pagar en Hostel World. Quite a few issues with the owner here. I woke up in middle of the night when he was drinking with another guest screaming America! It was clear the other guest didn’t like America. I didn’t think it was appropriate to be yelling anti American chants loud enough to wake up guests. He had told me he would turn on the gas to cool breakfast but didn’t and I text him which he didn’t wake up like he said he would. The water didn’t work in morning. He moved my stuff from one bedroom to...

Nos alojamos dos días en este hostal con un amigo y lo pasamo super bien con Roberto y el gatito! El ambiente es genial entre las coloridas y decoradas paredes de la casa. Se puede llegar fácilmente al mar en colectivo desde el hostal, y Arica, una ciudad en medio del desierto, es tan acogedora igual el dueño ;)

Owner is a very kind and explains how to get around. The hostel itself was great, clean, had a nice vibe, working wifi and is in my opinion underrated. Yes its not near the center but you can get there very cheap and easily (as the owner also explains to you).

Re buen lugar, lo recomiendo mucho. Es un lugar fantástico, nos gustó mucho. Gracias Roberto por recibirnos en tan bello lugar. Nos hubiera gustado quedatnos más tiempo

I can’t recommend this place enough. While I was there, I lost my ATM card and Roberto moved mountains to help me try and get it back. The place is super cool with a great vibe and always good music playing. Great location and I was given all the information there I needed to enjoy the city. My private room had TWO towels to use too! Like what am I a queen?! 10 out of 10. Thanks so much Roberto!!!

Roberto and Lila are the warmest hosts I’ve ever come across going above and beyond to make you feel welcome at their incredibly cute hostel they have built over the last 26 years. I’ve planned to stay only for one night but immediately felt the urge to book another few. Highly recommended place also going off of all the nice messages people have written on the walls over all these years.

Owner is an energetic guy. Kitchen and bathrooms are quite basic (kitchen was a bit dirty). But furthermore we had a good stay.

Great place to stay. Host is one of the best. Definitely recommend.

Je n’ai passé qu’une nuit dans cet hostel mais tout s’est bien passé. Le proprio est juste adorable, serviable et réactif. Il fait en sorte que vous passiez un bon séjour. Le dortoir était très propre, la cuisine un peu moins.

Mi reseña es que Roberto, el dueño, es el alma de ese Hostel. Qué personaje más espectacular. Yo encontré ahí lo que me gustaría encontrar en otros hostels, y eso que ni alcancé a carretear, ya que si así hubiera sido, estoy seguro que me quedo ahí, hasta que me echen. Saludos Roberto! Nos vemos!

Just cranking back up, but overall a good stay here. The colectivos into town from here make this somewhat out-of-the-way place quite handy. Good food and drink are handy to the hostel, I enjoyed my stay here

If you’re in Arica this is the place to stay! My friend and I had a great time and Roberto made us feel so welcome!! We had such a nice time we extended our stay by two nights The hostel is a good distance from the main downtown but I enjoyed the walk (and you can walk along the beach to the downtown). Also, Roberto is very helpful in showing you how to use the taxis which are quite cheap if you’d prefer not to walk.

Wonderful hostel! Roberto emailed in advance to prepare for my arrival including directions/details on how to get to the hostel & gave his contact details which made me feel safe especially travelling in my first solo trip! Upon arrival was greeted with a beer on the house, humour and good vibes! The hostel is uniquely decorated and a super relaxed place! Roberto runs this hostel and he defo makes a 1000% effort with all his guests! Will defo be back x Thank you!!
