Lamia BBK Women Hostel

Not enough bins - bins were overflowing The doors bang shut - I appreciate this could be a fire door though but it was noisy. No mirrors in bedrooms/dorms so caused congestion in the bathroom

It was not easy to find Lamia hostel. In yards. It gave me a lot’ s of stress. The stuff on all my questions answering ‘ no’. Replacing my small bag for 2 hours ‘ no’ . Mobing from second level bad to first level bad ‘ no’, even if the hole room was emptyon monday. Not welcoming.

Overall nice stay but the atmosphere was a bit odd. There were a lot of women in the evening in the kitchen that did not seem to be regular hostel guests. But the rooms and facilities were great!

Es fehlt im Zimmer - ein Stuhl - Haken, um etwas aufzuhängen oder - ein Kleiderbügel an der Stange - jemand, die die Spülmaschine im Blick hat Ich habe nicht gekocht, habe mich aber um die Spülmaschine gekümmert, um wenigstens eine saubere Tasse zu bekommen.

Good, but if you wanna be social this is definitely not the hostel for you (while I was there, there weren’t any events and not many guests). But everything was clean and I felt very safe

The hostel felt secure. There was a card for entering the hostel as well as the room. A metro station is close by; however, the hostel itself is a bit far from the sights if one wants to walk. The facilities were modern and clean. The hostel didn't feel very social but if you stay for one night and just rest, it is not a big problem.

Staff is friendly. Room , bathroom and kitchen were clean. Well-equipped kitchen but a few more spoons, forks and knives would be nice .

Het hostel is vrij nieuw. Dus alleen opbouwende kritiek van mij. Ik miste in de kamer kledinghaken om bijvoorbeeld je jas/handoek aan te hangen. En ik miste echt een slot op mijn Locker!!! verder ja de Atmosfeer het is nog zo'n jong hostel ik denk dat dit met de jaren wel meer warmte gaat krijgen geef het tijd.

I liked it a lot. I feel like lots of girls and women that stay here would appreciate more information about the place as it is also some sort of semi-permanent housing for women. It is a great initiative that we would love to know more about. The place is big, secure, clean and spacious. Not easy to chill in the common area where the couches are if you get up early, because there are people sleeping on the couches. I would come again. The area is also really nice, more like a normal neighborhoo

Eines der besten Hostels, die ich je besucht habe. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Schlafsaal&Badezimmer sehr sauber - einzig, das Hostel lag ezwas außerhalb des Zentrums (ist aber gut zu Fuß oder mit dem Bus erreichbar) und in der Küche gab es leider kaum Besteck. Ich würde definitiv wieder kommen!

everything was super lovely, the cleanliness, security, location, staff, other guests etc. the only thing i would change is remove the air fresheners which work too much in every common room, especially since it is proven that those are harmful. everything else amazing, will be back ✨

Really great place. Super clean- like spotless!!- and great staff with recommendations. Location is lovely for it being quiet and feeling safe. It is about a 25 minute walk to both old town and the Guggenheim, so you get your steps in for sure. Although there is a bus to connect to other transport options, the airport, etc too. Overall fantastic stay!

Nice hostel, clean and spacious. About 20-30 minute walk from the main sights, so you'll be on your feet a lot.

Hermoso lugar con muchos espacios comunes y muy comodos. Habitaciones enormes. Me senti muy a gusto. Las camas de hierro un poco ruidosas pero el resto me encanto. Super recomiendo.

Cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in and very peaceful. It is a sanctuary for travellers and is also near a beautiful community space where there were music events going on over the weekend too. Lovely staff, with common living room area and kitchen. Shower was holy ! And I ended up having the hostel room to myself. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet, restful place to recharge.

really lovely hostel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and it’s very clean. there wasn’t much of a social atmosphere while I was there, although it was bit busier on the weekend, but it would have been nice to have more social activities if people are looking for this. otherwise it was very comfortable with a kitchen and clean bathrooms and showers - would recommend!

The property, facilities, and staff are all great. I felt super safe and the staff was helpful when it came to answering questions and storing luggage. The only thing to not is that it is not located in the most convenient location if you are looking to do the basic Bilbao tourist things and explore the old town.

Awesome place! Went here on my first European solo weekend, I felt very safe and was able to rest well. Can’t speak to the energy during a busier season, but I enjoyed the tranquillity of my stay. Very clean and tidy place! A bit of a walk to the city center, but a straight shot.

The hostel was completely clean, safe, and well-managed. I needed to check-in after check-in time, and there were absolutely no issues. All of the staff members were kind and had great tips for exploring the city. It felt super safe, and keycards were needed for almost everything. Plus, it's about a 30 minute walk from the historic district.

Wat een fijn hostel! Het blijft een unicum op een hostel voor vrouwen te vinden. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en sloeg graag een praatje. Ik voelde me er heel veilig en geborgen! Perfect als je als vrouw alleen reist.

Very nice staff, and extremely accommodating! Facilities are great and clean, the bathrooms spacious and fully equipped as well as the kitchen. Not exactly in the center but really easy to get to the center by bus or feet from the hostel. There are bakeries and bars very close by. I have said in few different hostels around Europe and I highly recommend this one!
