If your interested in fuxxing in a sqeaky bunk bed in a 12 bed mixed dorm that smells like unwashed men and toilet and then not have water (or at least no hot water) to take a shower afterwards, this is THE place for you!!! This was the worst hostel, i‘ve been to in Albania. The staff was not very helpful, it felt like they wanted to chill all the time and if you needed something they seemed annoyed. It‘s always party and there is no way escaping the music, they should find a way to allow people to rest if they want to. The facilities are broken or dirty, for example the lock on our bathroom was broken. Wouldn’t recommend.

this hostel is the worst hostel i have ever been, it’s so bad that if someone offers me to stay there again for free i will say: it’s still expensive. the bathroom is a nightmare, so disgusting smells terrible everything dirty, there is no wifi in the rooms (like ???), i was woke up during my sleep by the staff because they didn’t know which guest were leaving or not, no proper information, nightmare!!!

Met lovely people here but the check in process was a bit chaotic, my friend and I were split up even though we booked under one booking and the charger didn’t work in one of our beds.

I usually like a party hostel, but the vibe in this place was off. Staff are unprofessional and rude, I saw one shout at a guest when everyone was drunk because she made a small mistake. The next morning when we were checking out, another guy working there was so hungover that he didn’t even acknowledge us or other guests when we told him we were checking out. We ignored negative reviews (check Google) because it’s near the beach but regretted it in the end - I would avoid staying here tbh!

My Salomon shoes were stolen after my first night at the hostel. Informed staff who joked that people are ‘shady’ around here and didn’t bother asking around or help me to locate them. Not ideal when my Balkan trip is predominantly hiking and there are no sport stores nearby. The boat party was the only good thing about the hostel.

Volunteers make you feel unwelcome, specifically the males. They act very annoyed when you ask them for help or anything at all. Seems like they just want to drink & try to talk to all the female guests. I was even warned about the main kiwi guy Matty by several women around Albania before staying. I should have listened, as I did leave to a different hostel sooner than planned. Location is a 30 min walk to most things. Many others had same issues/complaints so not sure why this is rated so high

Met some lovely people staying there and it’s near some nice beaches. The boat party is every other day not every day like it says on Hostelworld, met a few people who had been caught out by this when planning their stay. They have a bar onsite but don’t sell water. Staff more concerned with chilling out than helping people, bar man is rude and would shake the tip jar when handing back change. Power cut out frequently. Bunk beds were noisy. Breakfast was bad. Expected a better atmosphere

VERY DISAPPOINTING! As a group we had high hopes for this hostel, & whilst it delivered on the atmosphere I wouldn’t recommend it to solo travellers. The hostel organised a boat party, for which we were encouraged to “buy more alcohol than you think”. All volunteers were very involved in the running of the tour until one young girl was passed out & vomiting, at this point, the volunteers repeatedly said they were “off duty” them & the owner left a vulnerable, unresponsive girl at th...

It’s the best. I wanna go back! It’s a nice chill hostel but you can also get a party. The hostel host Tony is the best. Tony helps you with everything.

Hostel is pretty run down. The beds are uncomfortable and there is one bathroom for the dorm. The room had a very weird moldy smell, which made it hard to sleep in. Even with the window open. Do not recommend staying here. There are better hostels for the price. If you like partying then maybe yes. The hostel is social.

Incredibly nice people, very accommodating and good breakfast. The bathrooms weren't the best nor the cleanest, but apart from that it was quite good!

Toni was an excellent host making every guest feel welcomed but also safe. It has a perfect chilled out vibe but also a great community feel to the hostel. Breakfast was prepared fresh everyday which is always a great start to the day. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Had such an amazing stay at Trip’s Hostel Seaside! The atmosphere was super social and welcoming from the moment I arrived making it really easy to meet people and make friends. The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and created such a good vibe throughout the hostel. The location is perfect, right by the sea. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for a great stay. Honestly one of those places that makes you want to extend your trip. Would 100% recommend this hostel.

10/10 hostel experience! Right when you come in the owner Tony welcomes you and make you feel right at home. He’s super relaxed and he goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. ( I got food poisoning from earlier and he kept checking on me to make sure I was okay, he even gave me a lift to town to catch the bus at the end of my stay). The rooms are clean and curtains are being installed as I was staying there. Common areas and the general vibe of the hostel is amazing!

Our time at Trip’n’Hostel was amazing and Tony our host always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even helped us sort the entire journey from Himara to Shkoder for us. We 100% will be coming back here again :))

Great hostel with super friendly staff and social vibes. Even though we went during shoulder season everyone was around playing cards and socialising. Tony was super helpful booking our shuttles and dropping us to our boat tour. It’s a bit of a walk out of main town but close to Potum beach with ocean views.

Good atmosphere here, even if you’re not totally up to party you can chill out and everyone’s always around for a chat. Bathroom smelt slightly funny but nothing bad. Tony was great at helping with transport and other things as well :)

I loved the people, the enviroment, i really recommend

Close to the beach and decent prices. The breakfast is standard for the balkans but can't make tea or coffee until 11. You can hear everything through the walls so if you want an early/good nights sleep not the place. there's enough places nearby but I would prefer to stay closer to the main part of Himare which is 20+ minutes walk away.

Fun hostel and great social vibe but the facilities are outdated and everything smells slightly off. The showers are awful and leak water everywhere. Beds are rickety and loud. Location is great. They definitely overcharge but get away with it because the vibes are good.

Fun party hostel! loads of cool people come stay here! Hate the walk up the hill to get to it but views are great from the place at sunset

The vibe was electric, very social and lots in ways of partying. Was a little bit of out of the way so had to do some long treks but other than that was great. The breakfast is minimal, and the bunkbeds were a little rusty, with only a curtain for one side but not the other.

Apart from the lockers being on the smaller side, I had a great time here! A nice social vibe, close to the beaches, and friendly staff

Boat party was lit. It’s giving adult summer camp, a little unorganized/dirty but it was so social and fun here I didn’t mind :)
