Hostel Amir

It's a basic hostel, located within Fes' old town making it easy to explore the city by foot.

This place is in a great location and the upstairs area is cool to hang out but omg it's disgusting. Watched the housekeeper just remake the bed after someone checked out instead of washing the sheets. The bathrooms have no ventilation so are full of black mold and are never cleaned only the toilet paper restocked. Used a bathroom from one of the other rooms once and I was scared to breathe because furry mould was hanging from the ceiling. Also didn't feel unsafe but all doors are unlocked/open

I've been travelling for over four months and by far, this is the best hostel I've been to. The hostel has a great atmosphere and the terrace is a great place to chill, eat and smoke. The rooms are clean and the staff are great. Especially Othmaan who is always there to help you with whatever you need. Literally made me feel like I was part of they're family. 10/10 would recommend

Otman is a kind,nice and responsable guy! the hostel is cheap and clean. The breakfast is very good. I invite u to come to the Amir hostel, the best!

A great stay at an awesome location right outside the Medina and a 20 minute walk to the nearby tombs and arms museum. Breakfast was amazing and our host, Atman, was very caring.

Great hostel, good breakfast, amazing view from the roof top, reliable WiFi, Otman (receptionist) was very helpful. They offer menta tea for free on the roof top. The airport transfer is 150 MAD during the day and 200 MAD during nights (they wanted 20 EUR). Petit taxi to closest point to airport was 80 MAD. The hostel offers laundry service for 5 MAD per big item and 2 MAD per small item like underwear.

The staff is great. The location is convient. The breakfast is a bonus. Otman was receptive. "Big Welcome " I've extended my stay because of everything the staff!!!

Recomiendo 100% este lugar a todos los viajeros, lugar limpio, seguro y cerca de todas las atracciones, aunque el alma del hostal son el staff (Otmane y zakaria) chicos respetuosos, amigables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar desde el momento que llegas e incluso fuera de su turno de trabajo, (Otmane me ayudo a conseguir los mejores precios en los zocos de la Medina y Zakaria me ayudo a negociar el precio del taxi del hostal al aeropuerto), Este es el mejor hostal en el que me he quedado en mi vida
