+ Hot tubs directly in the hostel. One off them was very nice. Japanese rooms look nice.

- The facility definitely had better days in the past. Millions of things standing around catching dust. Very old runddown carpets hiding things from decades. Futons should get a lift up as well Low value for the money

+ Do passeio feito no Snow Monkey ,e a cidade de Yudanaka por ser uma localidade bem tranquila Ryokan aceitável

- Do atendimento da pousada muito frio e sem nenhuma cordialidade na recepção e nenhuma vontade em explicar de como fazer os passeios, e o mais interessante é que no Japão é praxe se despedir dos hospedes fazendo a reverência e o dito gerente nem sequer saiu para se despedir dizendo domoarigatogozaimashita

+ Om du vill uppleva ett genuint japanskt boende med äkta japansk frukost och boende ska du bo här. Det var som ett vandrarhem i standard. På bilderna ser det lyxigare ut än vad det är. Men genuint och typiskt japanskt.

- Det var kallt och det var mycket gammalt hotell. Men som sagt.. genuint och typiskt japansk stil så är det det du vill uppleva så är det spännande. Skulle inte bo där mer än en natt dock.

+ The location is near the Yudanaka train station which is very convenient. The ryokan is operated by a very hospitable family who allowed us to store our luggages after we checked out to go to the Snow Monkey Park very early the next day, and picked them up in the afteroon.

- The property is a little bit jaded however the hosts made it as comfortable as possible.

+ Location and the nice outdoor onsen

- The accommodation is rather dated. It gives a not so clean impression . I didn’t realise I have to leave Message during booking to reserve for dinner. It was not clear during the booking. It only mentioned to pay for dinner at accommodation. So we plan to have dinner there but didn’t end up doing it.

+ It's typical family owned hotel with tatami floors and matrasses on the floor, for experience. Private Onsen available. Tea was provided on arrival and the heater worked well taking in account that temperatures were very low. N

- I asked for breakfast 10 days before arrival on booking app and never got an answer. When we arrived in hotel, the host refused to provide the breakfast for next morning. Outside onsen was too hot to be able to use it.

+ Goede locatie, aardig en behulpzaam personeel. De meeste faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Gratis parkeerplaats. Goede locatie met veel restaurants in de buurt, om de hoek bij het trein- en busstation, er zit een supermarkt vlakbij.

- Het hotel lijkt wat gedateerd, het tapijt mag wel vervangen worden. Het oogt wat rommelig. De onsen was eigenlijk te heet om in te zitten. De bedden waren opgebruikt, het midden was dunner dan het voeteneind en de kussens erg klein.

- It feels outdated (red carpets, chipped wooden frames / doors / windows, marked walls, marked tables..). Steep stairs to the top. No coffee in the room although there is a machine at reception. We ordered the special dinner and compared with other meals in Japan it was expensive and disappointing. The non privet onsen at the hotel was mainly available for men. Women were only allowed 3 hours per day

- La descripción en Booking dice que está la posibilidad de cenar ahí, pero cuando preguntamos nos dijeron que no.

+ Beautiful property! Very traditional ryokan. Our room had tatami floors and was in immaculate condition. There were two public onsen and one private onsen; all were clean and comfortable. Great location, near the train station and very walkable to nearby convenience stores, restaurants, and sightseeing. Lovely hosts. Would recommend the dinner.

+ Amazing staff, Amazing location, very clean and comfortable and traditional. The onsen was the best part of the stay. Couldnt be more impressed!!

+ Excellent location close to the train station, very kind and accommodating staff. Excellent hot spring baths with a variety of temperatures, and I enjoyed a very delicious meal my first night there. Very well maintained tatami mat room, nice comfortable futon and good air conditioner too! Nice tea set provided and refreshed daily!

- There's nothing to dislike here, excellent place to stay that I would certainly stay at again.

+ Antica casa Giapponese con onsen interno. Stanza bella e grande per gli standard giapponesi. Cena cara ma molto buona e abbondante e lo stesso per la colazione.consiglio l’esperienza

+ Very nice looking inside and out. The outdoor onsen had a lovely atmosphere. The rooms were very well maintained.

+ La struttura è molto accogliente e il personale gentilissimo. La cena servita di ottima qualità. É stata un’esperienza unica. Le stanze molto grandi e caratteristiche.
