Dream Beach Hostel Lembongan

Awful place Joe is so weird with the girls invites all his friends and they all take pictures of the girls in bikinis secretly. Most uncomfortable experience didn’t feel safe at all. Bathrooms were dirty too full of mosquitoes in every corner and poo in the shower. If he offers to teach u how to ride a bike say no he touches u up the whole time . Not safe for female travellers

This is not a safe place for female travellers. A staff member entered my dorm bed at night and touched me despite me clearly telling him to stop and leave multiple times to which he did not listen. He refused to leave until I screamed at him. I was terrified and this was truly the worst experience of my whole travels. When I spoke to the management afterward, I was asked to not report it and forgive him. No action was taken and he still works there. This hostel is not safe, and I urge anyone...

Did not feel safe as a solo female traveller here - members of staff would find reasons to touch girls (unwanted touching of hair, clothes, hugging)

Did not feel safe at all as a female traveler due to the behavior of the male staff. Came sitting on my bed without consent and used everything as an excuse to touch me. Especially when no other people were around. Had to say no all the time, but he wouldn’t stop. He offered me a ride on the motorbike just to make me dependent on him so he could make use of my vulnerable position. This experience left a big mark on my 3-month trip.

The staff are so nice. The breakfast is basic but good to get something for the price. The doors to our room didn’t close and we got bitten by mosquitos so much all night. The showers are cold.

Beds were super comfy but were given this really thick blanket to sleep with, blackouts happened everyday that we were there and the aircon would go off so it made it impossible to sleep. Not a social hostel, communal spaces weren’t great and breakfast was terrible, but the staff were super lovely and you can book everything through them, we rented a scooter with them for a really good price (the puppies are so cute!)

A good hostel for the value. It was really far away from the “city”, so you have to be comfortable with driving a scooter, unfortunately I’m not, so I was bored a bit. But nice people, they call you by your name from your first day. Nice place to relax and book trips.

Hostel is closed to Dream Beach and Mushroom Beach so very good location. Staff is really nice and present on site. Cons: Bathroom/showers are not very clean so I doubt are being cleaned everyday. It’s important to note that only bottom beds have curtains and a/c doesn’t work so well in the 8persons room. No social events organized from the staff but some excursions are offered. Breakfast is very light, just toast and some fruits.

The owners were friendly and had cute puppies (but did eat my friend’s clothes). The bunk beds were comfy however the top bunk does not have a curtain. The hostel was nice but we did not think that it was worth £13 a night.

Wir haben uns bei Panda und allen Mitarbeitern sehr wohl gefühlt, unser Highlight waren u.a. die 3 kleinen Hundewelpen. Das Hostel ist sehr simpel, aber sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr sehr basic. Wir haben hier viele nette Leute kennengelernt und alles in allem eine sehr gute Zeit gehabt! Wir haben Roller, Schnorcheltrip und Driver über das Hostel gebucht, war alles super easy und gut!

Cannot recommend this place enough! Super chill vibe and the rooms are very clean. The staff is so amazing, Joe taught me how to ride a scooter and showed us the beaches and panda the owner is absolutely lovely!

This was the best hostel I’ve stayed in my 4 months of travel! It’s super clean, beds are comfy, a good amount of social vibes but still quiet to sleep, free breaky and awesome staff! Close to some really nice beaches on the island too. Highly recommend!

Can’t recommend this hostel enough, one of my favourite hostels I’ve stayed at. Super clean, comfy beds, perfect chill vibe but still super social. Panda and Joe were great at making me feel at home and always being there to give recommendations.

Definitely one of the best hostels i ever stayed at! I loved the vibe, its social but small and cozy - so a perfect mix! The location is top, you can reach everything by walking or renting a scooter. Thanks to Joe and the other nice staff for making my time so funny!

stayed here way longer than we planned on because we had such a blast! beds are very comfy, the location is very convenient and the people so chill and easy to socialise with. Panda is a great host and Joe really does everything to make your stay awesome! Plus vet cute doggos :) would love to come back!

Panda and his wife run an amazing place. They are so kind, helpful and willing to help you with anything. The pool area is lovely and rooms are kept very clean. Thanks for a great stay.

I loved my stay here. The pool is great and everyone is so friendly. The snorkelling trip was organised so easily as well!

Sooooo glad I stayed here, made my trip so special. Joe is just amazing and completely makes the hostel what it is. Met the nicest, most genuine people. The hostel has a super chilled, laid back vibe, people are open and friendly. Hope I can come back one day :(

A very easy 10/10!! Extremely social, beautiful hostel in a great location. Everyone who works there is amazing, panda the owner is awesome!! Joe went above and beyond for me, took time out of his day to give me my first ever scooter lesson! And played guitar and sang for us! The vibes were amazing here. Also did the snorkel tour through the hostel and it was insane.

Ich hatte eine super Zeit in dem Hostel! Vor allem die Angestellten ganz besonders Joe haben den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderen gemacht. Ich hab mich sehr wohlgefühlt und auch der Innenhof mit Pool war schön. Nur die Mücken im Schlafsaal wären ohne Mückenspray eine Qual gewesen.

Très bon séjour. L’auberge est agréable, avec une belle piscine, une chambre propre et des lits confortables. Merci à Joe pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

I had a great stay at Dream Beach Hostel and felt comfortable the entire time. Everything was excellent – from the atmosphere to the service. Jo was especially friendly and helpful, but the whole team was just amazing. I also did an island tour with Jo, which was a highlight! The hostel offers great activities overall. I would definitely come back!

Ik heb een erg fijn verblijf gehad. Joe was er lief en behulpzaam! De kamer was schoon. En de 2 honden Wiskey en Brownie zijn echt schatjes!

Hele fijne uitvalsbasis voor Nusa Lembongan! Je kan lopen naar verschillende stranden en verschillende leuke restaurantjes en cafés in de buurt. Het is een iets rustiger gebied dan het noorden van Nusa Lembongan. De dorm was ook super schoon en genoeg wc’s en douches. Zwembad was heerlijk en er staat elke ochtend een (simpel) ontbijtje klaar. Je kan leuke tours boeken (het snorkelen was het een aanrader). We hebben een super fijne tijd gehad hier en Joe en Panda zijn erg aardig! Aanrader!!
