Montenegro Backpackers Home Budva

One of the girls got molested last night while she was sleeping by a drunk guest from a different dorm. He was so drunk he didnt realise he was in a different dorm but when the girl started screaming he was still assulting her! Drinking is greatly encouraged by the hostel thanks to the 3 euro pub crawls. It was one of the worst hostels i have stayed at. Female travellers avoid this place at all cost. Also the quality of the wifi was terrible too.

Even though I had already paid with my credit card before arriving, and after asking twice in the reception, they charged me again in cash when I arrived, and the price was higher than the reservation. The staff is not friendly neither welcoming, and it is too expensive for what it offers. Uncomfortable rooms, noisy street...

They tried to double charge me for the downpayment paid online, claiming they have nothing to do with that. Unfriendly owner except for the sporty older man. Location is good. No breakfast despite the hostel name!! MIsleading.

The location is great and the rooms are ok. But the bathroom was very dirty and I didn't feel very welcome at this place - the staff wasn't friendly or helpful at all.. sorry guys.

El hostal está muy bien ubicado pero no hay una zona social, si quieres pasar tiempo en el hostal toca estar en la cama ya que no hay otros espacios y las camas no son muy cómodas, no tienen enchufe para cargar el teléfono ni luz personal.

The hostel lacks hygiene. I got rashes all over my body right after my stay. The bedsheet and the bedcover was not properly sanitised and lacked overall hygiene. This led to excema on my entire body and multiple doctor visits. Even after 20 days i am struggling with this issue. The hostel management needs to take this up very seriously and get it properly cleaned by professionals. Also, they need to have no washing clothes policy in their washrooms. People put wet clothes inside the dorms.

The good: volunteers are great! 10/10!, beds decent, good aircon, location is fantastic, washrooms are great, decently clean, kitchen is convenient Needs improvement: WiFi is terrible, no common space, owner is nice and not overbearing but gives off second-hand car dealer vibes and is slightly out of touch with what travelers are looking for, exemplified by getting rid of common room, selection of the slowest internet plan in existence, and “no luggage storage policy.”

I had a great stay at Backpackers Home Budva. Everything was clean and well kept and the location is unbeatable. The staff and owner Gordana are all very accommodating and friendly. Jason planned some great nights out for us which really added to the atmosphere of the hostel. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in the Budva area!!

Backpackers Home Budva is a wonderful hostel. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Gordana is an amazing host, very lovely and funny. Grace was one of the volunteers and she is also exceptional, making this hostel feel like home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay in Budva and I will certainly be back in the future. 😁❤️

Très bon hostel! Très agréable et propre!

It's a good property in the Budva Old Town. The staff is great. Some facilities could be better, but overall I have no complaints.

the owner of this hostel is such a sweetheart, she gave excellent recommendations and the hostel was good, however I came at the end of the season (which I didn’t know) so there wasn’t anyone there really but the kitchen is great, bathrooms are probably the best bathroom i’ve ever encountered and not just in a hostel but like ever, super super clean. and it’s centrally located in the old town, would stay again

Host mama was helpful and kind towards my stay when I desperately needed a local laundry service ! 🌷💐🌷 She also recommended L&M restaurant which makes my holiday even better and I’m grateful! 🙏🧚🙏 Bed and lining were clean and comfortable. Best locker space ! Extremely convenient and good size.🍀

Very good hostel. Gordana is very accommodating and sells Budva incredibly well. Shame there isn’t a common room but plenty of kitchen space and nice bathrooms. Would recommend here if you need somewhere to crash

Super séjour !

My stay at the hostel was pretty good! the room is very nice, comfortable beds, and the bathroom has been newly renovated so it’s really nice! Only downside is the common area is very small, and isn’t the best for socializing.

Nice Place :) the Girl from the reception also give me 2 Option where to stay. The kitchen was clean, directly in the old town.

Auberge bien placé avec un personnel aux petits soins. Vous avez une cuisine et salle de bain par étages et c'est hyper pratique.

Very clean hostel, beds are comfortable with curtains. The lockers are big. Bathroom and kitchen are really good, only downside is there is no common area or outdoor space. Montenegro is also expensive as a whole.

So clean, amazing beds and the best volunteers. Shoutout to Annie and Bree for really helping the guests socialise and make sure everyone has a good time!! Really recommend it!!

Günstig und zentral gelegenes Hostel in einer Seitengasse der Altstadt auf allerdings entsprechend beengtem Raum. Dennoch: für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Budva empfehlenswert.

Nice rooms, great location, unfortunately there is no common area

I had a great night here, the owner and staff were all lovely to deal with and had warm, welcoming energy. The facilities were clean with each floor having their own bathroom and kitchen - right in the middle of the city centre :) I would stay again!
