Pension Stella

Stella welcomed us and made sure our entire stay was well accommodated for. The pool was nice however the weather was a bit cooler when we visited so didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we wished. Quiet stay which was nice and relaxing. Easy walk to main bus station in Fira, and bus stop at the end of the street was a bonus.

Lovely place to stay! Just outside the overwhelming busyness of Fira. The owners were an absolute delight. The pool was amazing. The rooms were very clean. The restaurants just outside the hotel had some of the best Greek food ever and were a 1/3 price of the restaurants elsewhere and the food was of much higher quality. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Santorini.

Stella and George are a lovely couple who run this Hostel and welcomed me with very open arms. They were super helpful with anything I needed inc. transporting me to the ferry port. Room was spacious and clean with my own ensuite bathroom. Location is good with some great restaurants nearby and only a 15 min easy walk to Fira! Would recommend staying here if you come to Santorini! Thank you George and Stella, I hope to be back :)

Pension Stella was a great place to stay; the owner was extremely friendly and helpful, even booking us a taxi to get to the port when we left. 10/10 would stay again, and will if we’re ever back in Santorini. The sweet cats were a plus too!

This was my second stay with George & Stella and it was just as great as last time!! The hotel is clean and well taken care of, plus George and Stella are extremely helpful. The location is great, with multiple great restaurants on the same street, plus a few cafes as well. It is also about a 30 min walk & 5 min drive to Thira one of the main hubs of the island. There are also multiple beautiful beaches within a 20 min drive of the hotel, or you can use the adorable pool for a tan & swim.

honestly it was fine. nothing better nothing worse. location is ok, the staff is nice enough, and the room is adequate. the showers are not really great, you can’t flush toilet paper (kinda strange), and the guy from the hostel who promised my brother and i an airport transfer on our way back did not show up or even notify that he wouldn’t take us, which left us scrambling for a taxi to get to our flight. overall, eh

I enjoy my stay in Santorini at Pension Stella, the host is very kind and helpful. The room is super clean, cozy and near from Fira.

best place to stay considering convenience. Bus stop is just 2 min walk. Karterados is the name of the bus stop(10 mins from airport) and 15 mins walk to fira town. Very friendly and helping are the hosts.

10/10. Would stay again. Tucked away from the main tourist area which made it nice and quiet. Owners were lovely, bed was comfy and water pressure was divine. Make sure you get off the public bus at Karterados village - it’s a 2 minute walk from there. If you’re hungry, Meze house down the road is yummy and has the nicest owners.

Tutto ottimo, posizione, pulizia stanza, piscina, gentilezza dei gestori, ecc. Unica cosa dovrebbero togliere dalla descrizione del posto che i "servizi di trasferimento sono gratuiti" perché a noi hanno fatto pagare , anche se avvisati anticipatamente via mail.

This place was amazing! George and Stella were so welcoming and it truly felt like a home away from home. The property is gorgeous and so close to the city center. Would highly recommend that anyone stay here. I will definitely be back.

Terrific accomodation. George and Stella looked after us very well, picking us up and dropping us off to the port and airport. They gave us great recommendations of things to do and overall a great stay

The owner Stella and her husband George are incredibly accommodating and friendly. Stella did everything she could to make us feel welcome and maximize our time by booking excursions for us and even cooking us a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is fantastic, only a 15 minute walk to Fira bus station. We had an amazing time staying here in Santorini. Highly recommend!

This isn’t a hostel, it’s more like a mini hotel kinda. There are private rooms for rent w either single or double beds. It’s a nice place; clean, comfortable; big rooms, nice bathrooms. There is no kitchen. There’s a nice little porch w seating outside. Stella & George (owners) are very friendly people. Getting to the location from the port was kinda tricky. Make sure to ask the driver to let you know the names of the stops so you know when to get off. Overall satisfied.

La dame était très accueillante et super gentille!!! Prévoir de payer en argent. Beaucoup de chats sur le balcon. Endroit très calme et à distance respectable de l'arrêt d'autobus de Fira. Une petite boulangerie en haut de la côte; super bonne et parfaite pour le petit déjeuner.

George and Stella are fabulous hosts. If you’re going to Santorini I 100% recommend Pension Stella. First of all, when we arrived they had some issues with our intended room so they gave my friends and I two rooms for us with no extra cost. Everyday we came back to new towels and sheets on our beds. They even gave us transport to and from the airport. They also helped us get ATVs to get around the island. Great location as well!!

The most wonderful and helpful hosts, really felt like home. Near some of the best food on the island. Easy walk in to the main hustle and bustle, very central location. Would love to return!
