Hostel of Santurce

The hostel was in a really sketchy location and it felt really unsafe walking around. Our uber driver told us not to walk around, especially at night. It was harder to find and also I couldn't find staff anywhere. We ended up leaving after 10 minutes and going elsewhere because we felt unsafe.

If you’re looking for an affordable place in San Juan, this is a good option. I’d like to compliment the cleaning staff and the owners—they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The area isn’t the best, but we felt safe and didn’t experience any problems.

Cette auberge de jeunesse est une arnaque. On nous vend des dortoirs ou des chambres qui n’existent plus (sans pour autant les mettre à jour ensuite). J’ai eu de la chance à pouvoir obtenir un lit mais j’ai dû changer de chambre en cours de route (ils ont fait le même coup à au moins 4 autres personnes dont deux se sont retrouvés sans logement pour la nuit (alors que des lits étaient encore dispo)). Le quartier craint vraiment sérieusement, mais au moins l’auberge semble propre.

Our stay was great! My only Complaint is the room we booked and the room we got were different but they were very accommodating and nice about the situation and gave us a late checkout! It’s a hostel so many people coming and going if your happy to have some shared space and meet people on a budget I’d highly recommend!

The staff I met were nice and I did not see any bugs but that’s pretty much the only positive thing i can say about this hostel. it had no windows, extremely thin walls, no hot water, and many other guests were constantly staring me and my friend down. I would not recommend for young women. There was no socialization between guests outside of the men staring at us. The area is not really comfortable to walk around in.

Sketchy neighborhood. Lots of hypodermic needles on the ground / folks on fent. not in the core of Santurce. Noisy by the freeway. Dorms with 12 beds. Best feature is that it's the cheapest hostel in San Juan.

Le quartier est un peu dangereux et pas des lieux situés mais l’endroit en tant que tel est top!

Loved it here met so many great people. The staff is absolutely amazing helpful and friendly morning noon and night. I honestly love this place.

The hostel is in very scetchy by area (full of homeless and drug addicts) also the doors are locked and you have to send your id before they let you in. In my case I had to send ID in the street full of homeless hoping not get robbed… the hostel is very simple and stuff is outdated. My bed had no charging outlet, no shelf and the mattress was the size of the tea cup. Very hard. The vibe is 0 everyone is doing their own thing and no social vibe at all. There are better options

Il y avait peut-être 50 cm entre mon lit et le plafond. Il n'y avait pas de casier pour ranger les objets de valeur.

This place is very quiet . Is good if you are only going to sleep there. It’s cheap because doesn’t offer a lot of things. I just stayed one night and was ok.
