Noname Hostel And Cafe

Si vous cherchez un hostel : convivial, avec pleins d’activités (à un très bon prix), les repas excellent et très propre FONCEZ !! J’ai passé un superbe séjour ici.

The best thing about this hostel is probably the location which is amazing. Really close to Little Adam’s peak and the nine arches bridge and like a 15 minute walk into town. The breakfast was different everyday and the view at the cafe is really nice. The staff was really nice every time we talked to them, but sadly they were seldom even there. The restaurant/cafe also closes very early and with it also the water refill station. The shower was amazing though! And their dog is really sweet too...

Overall the hostel provided a good place to stay in Ella at a reasonable price. The included breakfast was good and varied every day. However the room was missing a few useful things like lights, curtains and plug sockets for each bed, which is very useful in a mixed shared dorm! The bathroom was also constantly wet and meant the room felt a little damp too! The social area for the hostel is also a cafe so it can feel a little weird hanging out when not in the room.

Hostel was good, I would recommend. Beds were comfy, amazing shower and had a balcony too over looking a beautiful view. I just didn’t like that there wasn’t any curtains. Other than that great location and staff.

Noname Hostel and Cafe was very close to the Nine Arches and Adam’s Peak. A bit out of the centre which wasn’t bad as the 20 mins walk is not long. We had a problem with overbooking rooms (I believe misadvertising a deluxe 4-bed on the hostels part) and people having to be moved multiple times which was inconvenient. The breakfast in the morning tasted good!! Great shower and room but bathroom had not been cleaned.

Die Betten sind sehr bequem und man kann heiß duschen. Das Hostel ist ansonsten leider nicht sehr sozial, wenn man also andere Reisende kennenlernen möchte sollte man woanders hingehen. Die Fotos sind leider irreführend, das Hostel hat keinen wirklichen Gemeinschaftsraum, sondern stattdessen ein öffentliches Café. Man kann sich dort trotzdem aufhalten aber es gibt keine Hängematten oder eine Ecke zum socializen.

Very nice accomodation! We stayed for three Nights, the room was small but clean and had a nice view. Highlight was the fancy shower, very modern with warm water :) Breakfast is included and changes every day. We had delicious coconut pancakes and savoury roti with creamy dal, it was a treat! The chill out area is very comfortable and cozy with hanging chairs and sofas. We had a great time, definitely would visit again :)) Bonus points for the sweetest dog, he was always up for a cuddle

The photos on Hosterworld are quite misleading. There’s no common room or chill area anymore, as it’s been turned into a café for people outside the hostel. The 5-bed dorm feels way too cramped for the number of beds inside. No curtains, no mosquito nets, nowhere to put your backpack. If you just need a bed to sleep in, it’s fine, but if you’re hoping for a social or comfortable space, this isn’t the place. The only real plus is their cute dog!

Too many beds in the room, so there is not much space for the luggage. No curtains, no personal light or shelf/nightstands. But there were lockers. In the evening there was no possibility to sit or meet in a common room because it was closed. The common room is also a restaurant for foreign guests. This makes the hostel uncomfortable. It’s not a place for socializing. Breakfast was not much but okay. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean.

This place is amazing!! Free breakfast, stayed for two nights and it was different too … very very nice host who is so sweet and welcoming:)) Alao the dogs here are so cute and adorable. All in all the hostel is so wonderful designed, the café has these nice hangout spots and music and downstairs in the rooms and bathrooms are so amazing, it literally feels like you are in a hotel!! Me, my friend and another girl were the only ones there though, but prob bc of off season and bc it’s Ella ...

Best hostel in Ella. The staff are very attentive and kind. Facilities are excellent. You also have a balcony seeing the nature in the mixed dorm. The breakfast is quite simple but they offer free fresh juice, coffee, water, which is a big plus. It’s 15 mins to ella bus stop and very close to adam’s peak and bridge. Definitely recommend!!

I really liked this hostel, a tiny bit outside Main Street of Ella but that was a good way to have peace from all the loud shops and bars. Close to 9 arch, rooms were quite spacious and super nice staff!

Very good location with really friendly staff. Everything was clean and the showers were warm.

Perfect hostel, tucked outside of ella so it's quieter than being on the main strip. Located close to two trail heads, it made exploring the area super easy :)
