A beautiful family welcome to Costa Rica. Note for English speakers: the host will arrange to meet you at the supermarket next door to the property at a 3-road intersection. This supermarket does not show up on the map, but is right next to the house’s address, not down the road. Parking felt safe and there’s a gate and a door to the hostel area. Quepos has a real local feel and the hosts would love to give you a quick walking tour. Nobody was staying in the mixed room w me. One bathroom.

Great stay. The owners were extremely kind and welcoming.

Kleine und süße Unterkunft bei einer wunderbar netten Familie. Ich war alleine im 6er Dorm, das war sehr gut, aber zu sechst würd es ziemlich eng werden.

Marisol's home stay is a needed stop. Being here reminded me to slow down and connect to the people and place. Marisol and her family are welcoming, and happy to help make your stay the best. Loved my home cooked breakfast that was different every day, and small talk around the house. AC and bathroom in the room for a comfy stay. Having Quepos as a home base and catching the bus into Manuel Antonio I highly recommend.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Familie willkommen. Die Stimmung ist sehr familiär und sie freuen sich, wenn ma Teil davon sein will. Wir durften die Küche benutzen und morgens gab es immer sehr leckeres Frühstück, auch vegan! Wir haben dort viel von Ihrem Leben mitbekommen und Einblicke in eine Costa Ricanische Familie erhalten.

Cette famille est adorable, ils nous écoutent et on toujours le sourire ! Je recommande surtout pour les petits déjeuner qui sont excellents par Marisol

People incredible kind, make sure you feel welcomed and have everything you need, great breakfast, comfortable room with fan and everything. Definitely coming back

Great place to stay, got a little confused with the location at first but got it worked out with a quick phone call.

Immediately felt at home. Extremely clean and well kept home with unbelievably nice and welcoming hosts. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful hostel, and the hosts truly make you feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with a hug and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s a family home, and you genuinely feel like part of the family during your stay. We paid for a dorm room but were upgraded to a private room, which was such a lovely surprise. The only small complaint is that the address on Hostelworld took us to a different area, so clearer directions or signage would be helpful!

This was our favourite place we stayed in Costa rice! We arrived at 11:30 at night and were welcomed in the dark with open arms. The rooms were comfortable and clean and everyone was extremely friendly. We had an amazing free breakfast and the hosts were very flexible.

I had a wonderful time at Casa Mar! The family is incredibly helpful and lovely. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. I would definitely stay here again!

Our time at Casa Mar was such a good experience. The family is extremely welcoming and nice. We got a different breakfast everyday and it was delicious. The rooms were clean and spacious. It‘s really close to the city center of Quepos and you can get to know the culture of Costa Rica well. Samuel her child was also really funny and we‘re glad we met them.
