Das Zimmer hat extrem nach Schimmel gerochen. Es war nicht möglich das Zimmer oder das Hostel abzuschließen. Jeder könnte rein kommen. Die Schränke zum Abschließen waren kaputt. Bin direkt wieder ausgezogen und habe mir ein neues Hostel gebucht. Freundlichkeit des Gastgebers war schlecht.

The place was a hole! It was all full of mold and you couldn’t breath because of that. It was crazy hot and humid. Coackroaches, lizards and hundreds of mosquitoes were your roommates. Cannot recommend despite the location! I did not sleep for one second

I probably wouldn’t recommend. It is a really good location but it does have a smell and roaches. I was safe as a solo female but it felt sceptical

Die Unterkunft war an sich super ausgestattet. Ein großes Manko waren aber die Betten. Sie wurden nicht frisch bezogen, was wir an Haaren im Bettzeug erkannt haben. Außerdem hat es im Schlafzimmer sehr stark gemufft und das Bett hat sich feucht angefühlt. Ich kann die Unterkunft leider nicht weiterempfehlen. 👎

The rooms smell like mold. The bathroom is disgusting and cockroach infested. The AC doesn’t work properly. You’d wake up in the middle of the night to someone or something just stepping on the ceiling very loudly. There is no one to attend to any concerns that you have. I probably saw the owner only twice during my stay. The entire hostel doesn’t even have soap or proper amenities. It’s a great place but I was alone both days I stayed. Smells a little bit like mold in the rooms, needs to be vented. They turn off the ac on the days so it gets hot pretty quick. But cute place with all the stuff you need

Great location and nice owners, rooms are not clean. Mold on the bugsnet and saw some cockroaches.

Spent a night. Good location, common area is good but the room was very hot even with fan and pillows smelled mould.

The hostel is great, very cosy. It’s also a restaurant/bar which is convenient. The location is absolutely perfect, you are right inside the fort, next to the wall. Felt more like an apartment. Beds were small and uncomfortable . Staff very friendly and clean linen. Great location

Nice and chill hostel. Feels like a homestay with good beds and good location.

Great location, great staff and good rooms. The rooms are small which is great to avoid having a lot of noise. Everything was clean. And the outdoors area is great to have some drinks or chat. The only downside is that you cannot ventilate the room.

The location is excellent, and the owners treated us in the best possible way. Staying here was absolutely wonderful, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Highly recommended!

Less of a hostel and more of an apartment/holiday home. Beautiful place that is well equipped, but no other travellers were around but that may have been the time of year

This was such an amazing place. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves but the atmosphere was so nice for more people. It’s right in the middle of galle fort and with a really lovely bar next door. Everyone was so nice to us and very helpful

Sehr kleines Hostel (nur eine Toilette und eine Dusche), wenig Platz in den Zimmern. Es wurde aber regelmässig geputzt. Es gibt Schliessfächer. Die Lage direkt auf dem Fort ist super.

Great location for the fort and a nice space, no locks which is nice but took a minute to get used to

Sehr süßes kleines Hostel mit eigener Küche im Zentrum von der Altstadt in Galle. Hat sich mehr wie ein AirBnb angefühlt aber für eine Nacht super. Zu dem Hostel gehört ein Restaurant und es gibt Laundry Service. Das Personal war auch sehr nett.

Kleines, sauberes, gemütliches Hostel mitten in der Altstadt/Fort. 800 m vom Bahnhof und Busterminal entfernt. Die Zimmer haben AC und große Locker. Im Restaurant nebenan kann man auf der Dachterrasse ab 8 Uhr lecker Frühstücken mit Blick auf die Befestigungsanlagen und das Meer.
