Camping Village Il Poggetto

They didn’t have the 4 bed hostel dormetry that we paid for, only a 9 bed. They were aware of this issue prior to our arrival but didn’t communicate it with us. No discount, movement or cancellation was offered, they didn’t care.

We absolutely loved it here and so did our kids! After a heatwave in Sicily and lots of days on the road they really needed a chill and this was the ideal place to do it. We had a static caravan in the small camp so can’t comment on shared facilities as we had our own bathroom. The aircon in ours was great and the beds were comfy. The second bedroom has two singles and a top bunk but it had bars so no risk of a younger child (ours is 6) falling out. The pool is really really great! Kids pool h...

Great place near Florance. Very helpful and kind stuff . Nice bar and restaurant for a refundable price too.

Amazing , only issue was the bus to the property to and from Florence was extremely unreliable and didn’t run late enough at night so not great if your backpacking

The Camping Village was awesome and it was a great experience in itself outside of going into the city of Florence. We enjoyed our cabin, being able to cook for ourselves, and relax! Only complaint is the correct bus schedule was not posted at the reception and it would have been nice to have to avoid all the delays with buses. Other thank that great place for a weekend getaway for couples, families, and older folks... for EVERYONE!
