Ok Chawkoh Bungalow

We Checked-In in the middle of the day. The property is close to the main road on the side not directed to the beach. When we arrived, it was already a bit smelly. In the Room itself and the property in general. After Dinner, we came back and a rat crawled into our bungalow. We tried to scare the rat away, but it always returned. Also, we noticed dirt (looked like rat poo) on our bed. Since the rat would not go away and always come back, we decided to leave that night and looked for another host...

The bungalow was dirty and we had cockroaches.

The mosquitos are very well fed at this place. As for the ‘fanned’ room you might as well hire a Pilipino to blow on your face. The front desk woman is very nice and respectful. The man comes across very fed up. But overall, it’s some where to lay your head.

The hostel is okay and the staff are nice, but we were woken one night to find a rat running around and saw it scaling the wall, and could hear squeaking and rustling all night. There was also rat droppings found on the floor. The owners did put us into an enclosed room, but this did not make us feel much better given the lost sleep and the disgust involved. When returning our motorcycle we were nearly mistakenly charged another 250 baht. We do not recommend the fan-cooled bungalows due to heat.

It was a good spot for chill vibes!

I liked it, even though it is right next to a road. You can hear the cars in the bungalow.

Lovely bungalows, good space and facilities. They also can organise trips if you’re interested too. Would recommend 😃

Good place for the price, staff people is very friendly

A really lovely little room, I felt safe being alone there, just veryyyy noisy because it was just a hut and right on the road so it literally sounded like I was outside all night. Comfy bed, friendly staff and a lovely hammock on the porch.

The location is nice near 7-11, beach, and restaurant. very clean room. But if raining i recommend air conditioner room is enclose room.

Close to the beach, free water refill, toaster and fridge, tours are expensive, bungalows are warm and not very high

Bungalows are pretty basic, but good enough for a night or two. You can feel the springs of the mattress and there is no AC, but it wasn’t to hot and there is a mosquito net around the bed. Shared shower and bathroom which was pretty clean. All in all decent stay.

Tbh, it was the cheapest option. But the no ac option was not worth it. Whould rather Get in a dorm with ac next time. To warm, socket was not working so had to chatte my phone in the kitchen area.

I spent three nights in a private bungalow with shared bathroom. The room is quite big, but the mattress is a but uncomfortable because you can feel the springs inside. Anyway the staff was very kind and helpful, and there you can rent a bike, buy gasoline, and book tours and taxis

Great place! Just what you need.

The security included a padlock on the door which could be pushed open if wanted (we had to give a 500B deposit for this). The toilet door didn’t lock and the shower only had one temperature (cold). A bird was able to poo through the ceiling onto our bed whilst we were out. The fan only had one setting as it was broken and there were staples sticking out of the floor. Overall, this is a budget stay and for one night passable.
